Malkin's Carpets

Carpet work was fine. Flooring installation was terrible. Failed to level the concrete subfloor, so bubbles in flooring. Didn’t Match trim. Promised to follow up on trim issue (indicated it would darken after some months). Never called. Worst of all was installation crew. Trimmed pieces in my home. Sawdust everywhere. Ruined newly painted walls. Filled my ventilation system. They would not clean up their mess or the damage they caused. I had to find a cleaning service, and have vents cleaned. This delayed my move, requiring more time off than planned. Responsiveness was non-existent. Terrible. My flooring is now gapping 2.5 years later. I may have to replace. Ridiculous.

We went with an upgraded pad, and choose a Karastan carpet. Their showroom is extensive and they offer carpet choices across a wide price range. Installers were sub-contractors and did an excellent job. I would use them again.

This was the 2nd time we used the services of Malkin's. We are very satisfied with all aspects of the purchase and service.

They are a local company and I liked them very much. The carpet was their best, I wanted something plush because I don't like to wear shoes. This was for a 12 x 12 room and they ripped up the old carpeting and padding and put down the best padding and then the new carpeting. They did a beautiful job. 

My housekeeper said this is the hardest room to vacuum because the carpet is so thick, it's hard to get the vacuum thru. The quality is first rate. 

I was going to FL for the winter so I did the ordering and my son handled all the coming and going to get it done. When I came home it was done and it was perfect. It was exactly what I wanted. My son set up the appointment according to his schedule and they showed up on time or he would have told me. 

It's an expensive store. So it's not like you can go in some places where you can get three or four different layers of pricing where one can be very inexpensive. This isn't that kind of place, their quality starts high and you can only go up.

Everyone was great to work with. Salesman Rob answered many questions in person and over the phone. Installers Mike and Jeff were outstanding. Really went the extra mile to make sure everything was done right.

Everything turned out perfect. We love our wood floors especially. Workmen were professional and always there when they said they would be. Superb quality and installation. LTV was new to us and recommended by the salesman and it looks and feels great. We have worked with Malkin's before and we are never dissapointed.

The installers worked really hard to get the job done. We have a lot of square footage.

We previously purchased carpet for 2 large rooms in our house at Malkins.  The carpeting is great and they did a great job with the installation.  We recently had some water damage as a result of a leaky water connection.   We headed right to Malkin's for replacement flooring.  They again did a bang up job, my new floor looks great!  We are now looking at replacing the last room of older carpet and headed directly to Malkin's.  Can't say enough good things about them.  I will recommend them in a heartbeat!

We needed to change the scheduled appointment time because we needed to leave home later in the morning. They had no problem moving us to an earlier time slot and we left while they were about half done. When we returned home a few hours later, they had already finished and were gone. They left the larger pieces of carpet trim, for repair if we needed in the future, and cleaned up all the other mess. Everything looked great and professionally done, as expected,  because we had worked with them a few years before, with excellant results.

Salvatore was great to work with.  I needed to match the carpeting in the hallway and Sal helped me find the right color and carpeting.  He provided me with the best price.

All we dealt with were extremely professional and expert at what they did.  Would definitely recommend them to others and would use them again.

We experienced a few hiccups but in the end it all worked out.  They answered all of our questions and were very forthcoming with information; unlike some places where it felt like you were extracting the information.  The installation men showed up on time, were curtious, clean, fast and answered all my questions.
