We had roof reshingled and siding replaced. The job was done in a timely manner and very professional process from start to finish. The customer service was great and I really appreciated that. They were a pleasure to work with I would definitely recommend them.

Twin Pines was wonderful to work with. They provided very clear communication; showed up when they said they would and were quick and efficient in the work that they did. They cleaned up all areas when they were finished. They did an exceptional job on our roof and gutters!

Very Good Service AJ and the crew were amazing. What really impressed me was how the Supervisor (AJ) and his crew got along always smiling , sharing their afternoon lunch and answering my hundreds of questions with a smile. The Salesman Mitch and the Owner Nate were also very responsive and courteous. However, tongue in cheek I would like to see these 3 ONLY on a golf course, never again on my roof at any time.

We hired Twin Pines to put on a new roof and install new gutters and downspouts. Initially it seemed to go well. We were impressed by their efforts to protect the landscaping and clean up the job site. That disappeared completely by the second day. They damaged mature bushes and numerous perennials and left the job site strewn with debris and garbage. When we pointed this out to Craig Schewe, who was managing the job, he did nothing to fix it. Twin Pines finished the roof and when it came time for them to install the gutters and downspouts, things grew much worse. At the time we signed the contract, we specified 3-inch round corrugated downspouts to be installed at the same location--corners of the house--as the existing downspouts (also 3-inch round corrugated). Craig Schewe said that these were a “custom” order and charged us an additional $1000. Eventually they came out to do the work. Their crew was loud, rude and obnoxious, and they ended up installing the wrong downspouts in the wrong configuration and in the wrong locations (right down the front facade of the house). They also left behind copious amounts of debris and garbage. These deficiencies were immediately brought to the attention of Craig Schewe, who acknowledged the errors, writing,“I’m so sorry the downspouts were installed differently than we discussed. I will definitely make sure this is corrected.” Instead of doing this, however, Twin Pines subjected us to months of delays, broken promises and outright lies. I received an email from the owner of Twin Pines, Nathaniel Stern. No salutation, no apology, just a brusque statement that: “We cannot find the smaller corrugated downspout...” What followed was an absurd string of emails in which they insisted over and over that they could not acquire the correct downspouts. We contacted numerous suppliers and let Mr Stern know that they were readily available. We even sent him an invoice from his own supplier showing that the downspouts and accessories could ship within days. They simply would not agree to order and install the correct materials for which they were charging us an additional $1000. It became clear that we could not get Twin Pines to fix their deficient work, so we attempted to negotiate a settlement. Initially, Nathanial Stern accepted our offer (“I will revise the bill and send an email tomorrow”), only to renege the next day. Fed up with Mr Stern’s refusal to act in good faith, we finally sent him a check clearly notated “Full and Final Payment”. He cashed the check and then immediately started threatening a lien. We responded by reiterating all the defects and deficiencies of Twin Pines’ work, including a video of the now leaking gutters. We regret ever having hired Twin Pines. The experience has been nothing but negative. Based on our experience, we found Twin Pines, and Nathaniel Stern, to be unprofessional, untrustworthy and dishonest.

Everything looks great. They were very professional and thorough. I don’t think anyone would be better. I’m very pleased.

I can't say enough good things about Nate and his professional crew at Twin Pines. Our project was big. Very large steep roof. Nate gave us estimates for replacement cedar shake, manufactured (composite) slate and shake. We chose the manufactured slate and couldn't be happier with the end result. His crew (and project manager Mitch) was efficient, professional and communicated frequently about what was being done. We also had all of our gutters replaced and gutter guards put on. That too went well. Everything was on time and budget and clean up was impeccable. My husband and I highly recommend Twin Pines.

Excellent. The roofers were very professional. They were pleasant, cleaned up after themselves and did a meticulous job.

Multiple things were damaged on the property upon initial install. Took many phone calls and emails over five months to get everything done. Still not satisfied with the work, was promised excellence and that is not how I feel about the work completed.

It took a few days longer and more supplies than originally planned, but they stuck with their quote and did a good job. They did not do a good job of picking up the nails. We found several nails around the house and in the garage, which I had thought was picked up by a magnet. This was not the case. A realtor commented that we have the best looking roof in the neighborhood, so that was nice to hear.

This company is fantastic. Our roof was replaced within two weeks of our first quote. (It would have been earlier had the weather not been so nasty. The materials dropped off on a Friday, dumpster on Tues, work started on Wed and finished Friday morning. The crew was very efficient and hard working. Working until 7:30 pm. The dumpster was out of the driveway by 1pm Friday. Given the windy weather we've been having, it is great to know I will no longer be picking up shingles in my yard.

The finished job looks good . There was a leak into the garage from the broken plywood section. The leak is mostly gone but still leaks when it rains hard. Not fixed.

I would definitely recommend Twin Pines Home Improvements to everyone I know.  The quality and professionalism started with the first email I sent.  Nate, the owner, was the one who came out and gave us our quote and from that first interaction, we knew this was the company to go with.  Nate takes pride in the work that he does.  He was very knowledgeable and professional when talking to us about our project.  We had about 4 other companies come out and give us a quote.  Twin Pines wasn't the most expensive and wasn't the cheapest, but we went with them because of the comfort that we felt from Nate.  We had roof, siding, gutters and gutter guards installed, so it was a pretty massive project.  The flow of everything was unbelievable.  There was never really any downtime in-between the projects being completed, so they were done in a little more than a week, which again is crazy for all the work we had done.  All the project managers were so nice and friendly.  When I would go out and talk to them they would fill me in with the progress and their timeline.  I can't say it enough, but I would definitely recommend Twin Pines to everyone!

They made sure all my wives flowers were protected with the tarps they laid down. They completely tore off the old shingles and roofing paper and valley flashing.. They replaced 6 sheets of plywood damaged by moisture and skylight due to leakage.

They then installed new roofing paper, valley flashing, roof edge molding and new shingles.
My roof looks excellent and the clean-up was very impressive. I was home throughout the whole job. I'm very satisfied and will highly recommend Twin Pines home improvement to anyone.

Went well – gave us estimate quickly as we had wind damage. Worked incredibly fast when they did the roof and put it on in a day. There was some damage to our deck, out the owner addressed it and had it fixed right away.

The owner came to do the estimate and was willing to check back on the job at the end  We would not have done the job at the originally offered price. They accepted a lower offer, which we felt was more reasonable.  I suggest comparing prices and negotiating, as we did.   Beautiful job overall.  Good advice, professional service and competent workmen.

Everything went great!  Nate was extremely knowledgeable and informative on the initial inspection of our room.  He was incredibly patient with us as we picked out the type of roofing material we wanted to use.  The workers were all very courteous and neat.  Tearing off an roof is messy work, but at the end of each day they cleaned everything up so that our dog could be outside and we weren't afraid of her stepping on nails or metal scrap.  Our roof looks so much better and we are thrilled.

There were delays due to weather and an injured foreman and product delivery errors.  The delays were in no way problematic for me and work was done well within my required time frame.  Otherwise, Things went very well.  Three guys completed most of the work (removal, wrapping, siding, cladding and clean up) in one long day.  Some days later, three guys installed gutters and downspouts in about half day and cleaned up.  
I am very pleased and would use them again.

The roof team showed up at 7AM and quickly got to work.  The supervisor didn't just sit around.  He worked his butt off and when I returned that evening, he was covered in sweat and dirt from working all day.  I have never seen a supervisor work so hard before.  They also stayed late until roughly 6:45PM so that the main roof on the house was done and weather tight.  They also aggressively cleaned up the yard.  The next day, they were in and out while I was at work to do the garage and small overhang roofs on the house.  And another day, the gutters and downspouts were installed.  About a week later, the rubber roof was done.  Nate did a great job matching the gutters to the siding color.  The results look great.  I am very pleased with the outcome.

I had Twin Pines do a full roof tear off and replacement, as well as new gutters on a duplex I own. Out out of the 5 bids we had done, he was the lowest of any contractor with an A rating on Angies list. We definitely don't regret our choice. His crew was quick and courteous. The tenants were happy with how nice the crew was. They did an excellent job. I will be using them again for any Roofing and gutter needs. If you are planning on redoing your roof I would definitely give Nate at twin pines a call.

They provided a thorough bid, were punctual and pleasant.  Completed the job in a timely manner and even corrected some issues such as ventilation that wasn't properly vented.  The equipment left some black marks on our ceiling where it went into the attic, but nothing permanent.
