Visit began with a weigh in for our new puppy (not our first dog). Then proceeded to the examining room where we were subjected to a 30-minute verbal presentation by the nurse/technician regarding basic puppy training but mostly about all the various diseases a dog could encounter during his lifetime. We then waited an additional 15 minutes for the VET to arrive, and upon arrival were subjected to another 30 minute lecture about the same topics (a total of 90 minutes). A licensed breeder immunized our puppy but Brook-Falls VET would not recognize the first distemper shot because it was administered by the breeder. After the distemper shot we were overwhelmed with lectures about dog diseases and immunizations needed for hepatitis, kidney diseases and Dog Flu a few of the nine diseases reviewed. CONCLUSION: We believe that these long speeches were to designed to overwhelm new pet owners and convince them that Brook-Falls Veterinary will create, monitor, and schedule all the life-time immunizations through their Wellness Plans at a cost of $53 per month (and decide within 3 days to cover today’s charges of $181). The experience felt like dealing with a used car dealer trying to wear us down to purchase something we did not want.

They're amazing. They're just fabulous people there. I believe our dogs love them. Even though they're the vets, our dogs absolutely love the people there and we do too. The vet and the staff are very attentive and very caring. They're very knowledgeable. They're also very caring in the way in which they not only take care of the dog but communicate with us of what was going on with the dog.

I went in with a sick chinchilla that wasn't eating and was losing weight and acting strange. They helped me nurse her back to health and provided me with changes that I can make to help keep her well in the future. Very thoughtful, friendly, compassionate and fantastic people.

The staff is really nice both when you call in and when you visit. The office is very clean and the entrance is very big so you don’t need to worry about animals not getting along. They have always been organized and on time. They are accommodating to our special requests and remember us when we come in for our bird’s checkups. They send out e-mails with the visit info on request which is very nice and are good about explaining everything with the ability to talk directly to the doctors.

They are a little more costly then our normal dog and cat vet however for the office set up combined with the specialty care of a bird it is worth the extra cost.

I've been with the same vet for 15 years although she moved locations. They are very thorough and they have a nice way with the animals. It is a conservative treatment orientation; they don't rush into something before they try the more conservative treatments. Dr. Denise Follett is my vet and I still use her even though I have to drive a longer way.

I first brought my parakeet for a checkup and for concern that he had bare spots where feathers should be. He was examined and I was told that he was just molting, and that he was in good health. This cost about $125. I thought that was a little steep, but I paid it. I brought Jeffy in a second time 2 weeks later because he had vomited. I was very concerned for him. He's just a little budgie, but part of our family and we love him. He is 6 years old, close to the end of the usual lifespan for a parakeet. Sensing my vulnerability, he was whisked away and given a series of tests which were very expensive without advising me that this would cost hundreds of dollars. The bill was around $475.00, for a pet that cost $20 at the pet store. After this, they called me on the phone several times, urging me to bring him in for more procedures. They were quite insistent, but I declined. I was also receiving emails from them advertising merchandise being sold at the clinic. My overall impression was that this practice is focused on getting as much money out of our pockets as it can, taking advantage of people's emotional attachment to their pets for profits.

They were all very nice, and we will actually bring the cats in to see them for further Vet services. Looking forward to it!

They are wonderful, absolutly the best. We have been using them for about 15-20 years. There caring, the advise they give and there expertise they bring when we go in with our dog is the best. We spent $525.00. Our dog had a routine anual physical, they checked his dental, and he was due for his rabbies and a couple of other shots plus he had to get on his heart guard and front line, that goes by the pound and our dog weigh's 110lbs so that was part of the problem.

Dr. Bloss is the only certified avian vet I know of in the area, and her expertise in handling exotic birds is impressive. Her respectful manner and polite, professional office staff make the clinic a pleasure to work with. Her prices are high, but not outrageous, and the quality service is worth the premium price.

She'll take the time to explain everything to pet parents. She makes the parent and the pet feel at ease. She specializes in taking care of exotic animals. She has a good cost and a good service. Getting in for an appointment is really easy. The last time we were there was for shots for one of the ferrets. However for the initial visit it was in the new clinic, it was $170 which included the visit, exam, and lab work. We will continue to go here for future service.
