B & C FLOOR CO LLC

Initially we were very pleased with the results.  The work took a little longer to complete than expected.  The workers seemed to be rather rushed, as if they had been over-promised for several jobs.

There was a spot in one of the bedrooms where it was clear that the sealer had been missed, leaving a small portion a much lighter color that the surrounding wood, even on the same board. Luckily, there is a dresser covering that spot now.

A few months later the finish started to flake off of the floor in the entry way.  I'm thinking this was due to the workers being a little rushed and not letting the sealer dry entirely before applying the finish.  I ended up re-finishing the entry way myself.

Overall, I think the people doing the work did the best they could in the time given.

   Other floorers that I had quote didn't understand how the subfloors worked in my home, and thought there would be a large bump between the hallway and living room. 
   Not Bob. He figured out exactly what had to be done. The floors in my kitchen were rough, but not now. They were refinished very nicely. There is no bump between the living room and hallway, it is flush. 
   
   A couple months after the job was done, I discovered my registers don't quite cover the gap, and I called Bob and he sent his crew right out to fix it. He didn't have to do that, and I would have been happy to pay for it, but he did it no charge.
Do not hesitate to do business with him. I got quotes from the best in Milwaukee, and Bob beat them all, both on quality and price. 

Beautiful refinishing job.

Floors look great and they did a nice job at dust containment. They did not do the thresholds in the planned/stated time frame. It took a phone call or two to have them return and finish the job. The lady was very professional and made efforts to communicate the importance of finishing the job to her boss. In all, it took and extra week for that to be completed, but they did a great job. Floors look great and I would hire them again and recommend. Given the issue of the thresholds not being finished, I was pleased with their acceptance of responsibility to finish the job promptly.

The floors look fantastic...we left town, and came home to beautiful floors. They came and went as needed, locking the doors when finished. I have had B&C before because of their high quality of service and excellence!

Excellent customer relationship. Agreed to use material specified by a customer, which could be rare. However, lacks accuracy in following its schedule for performing jobs during a day. Needs to better train its new employees. Make sure you ask to protect all the surfaces from wood dust.

THE MAN WHO DID THE QUOTING AND THE WORK WERE VERY COMPREHENSIVE IN EXPLAINING WHAT COULD OR COULD NOT BE DONE & EDUCATED US WELL ON WHAT WOULD WORK BEST IN OUR HOUSE & WITH OUR EXISTING,OLD, ORIGINAL WOOD FLOORS.

THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, VERY FRIENDLY AND DISCUSSED EACH STAGE OF THE WORK WITH US. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND COMPLETED THE JOB WHEN PROMISED. WE WOULDN'T HESITATE TO HAVE THEM BACK.
