It went wonderfully!They installed a new threshold, all new trim around the door inside and even hauled away our old door. Everything was done so professionally and beautifully. There wasn't a speck of dust left behind after they did the installation. Just spotless! So well done and beautiful. The door is perfect!

They were great consultants before the install as well - telling us everything we needed to purchase so I had no doubt in my mind that we were buying the exact things we needed.

When we get our windows replaced, we will be calling them again!

My cottage is in a rural area about 65 miles from JCM Construction's location.  They were willing to travel for the job, which was a major point in their favor in getting the job initially.  The prior year they had replaced two full patio doors at my cottage, and I was there to observe the work they did.  It was outstanding, and I was so pleased that I hired them again to replace the vinyl siding on the cottage and two yard sheds.

During the planning stage of the work, Dana, one of the co-owners, worked with me on the job estimate and selection of siding (color and quality level).  She was very pleasant to work with, and we were able to plan a date for the actual work to be done.  She kept me informed as the date got closer, and gave me final confirmation a week prior to the start of the job.

They arrived on the date and at the time that they said they would.  They estimated the entire effort to take about 4 days.  They actually worked very long days for the first 3 days (up to 10 hours), and finished the job with an additional couple of hours on the 4th day.

Jake, the other co-owner of JCM Construction, kept me informed at every step of the process, and wanted to hear my honest opinion about the work as it progressed.  Jake was also the leader of the work crew (which also had another member named Jake).

One of the special concerns on this job was a small "pump house" that covered the water well's pressure tank and a water filtration apparatus near the entrance to the cottage.  The old structure was very small and cramped, standing only about 3 feet high, and whenever I needed to work on any of the plumbing inside I was on my hands and knees with little room to work.  I asked Jake if he could rebuild the pump house into a structure I could stand upright in for any work.  This was no problem for JCM, and they quickly rebuilt the structure, including the installation of a full size steel locking door for entrance (the previous door was a simple piece of plywood on hinges).  The end result was great, and the new pump house is one of my favorite aspects of the overall job.

The cottage looks brand new with the beautiful new siding, and the sheds now match the cottage as well.  One of the sheds was a simple plywood structure that had previously been painted.  The new siding on that shed made for an amazing transformation.

Overall, the quality of the work by JCM was outstanding.  They were prompt each day, and their work ethic was great.  They kept a clean work environment, and at the end of the job they ensured the entire site was cleaned up properly.  They were a pleasure to work with, and I would hire them again as needed.  I highly recommend JCM Construction.

We bought our doors from a local source. Each step was done with care and professionalism. A complete cleanup was done and both doors look great.

Jake and Dana are incredibly professional, kind, and thorough. I would work with them again in a heartbeat! They completed their work quickly and efficiently, and went above and beyond what was needed. Dana was very responsive and helpful over the phone when we were scheduling our work. We had some water leaking underneath both our doors and Jake put in new floorboards and did an extra-thorough caulking job underneath the new doors to make sure we wouldn't have any more leakage. He also very clearly explained all the work he had done.

Jake is an extremely polite and friendly young man who sure works his butt off to complete the job. He and i picked up the doors at the store at approximately 730 AM and we went to my daughter's house and he went right to work. He finished at approximately 545 PM. I told my daughter to tell him if he wanted to wait to finish our front door across town he could. But he told her his job was not done yet. Jake left our house at approximately 630 PM. He did a great job on our house and I checked my daughters doors and framing, they are perfect. I will not hesitate to call JCM Construction for any on my needs.

They were fabulous, punctual and professional and will use them in the future if we have any more needs.

We purchased a front door and sidelight system from a local business, and he was the installer. He did a very careful job at removing the old door system, so not to damage the walls or brick surrounding it; as was the same with installing the new door system. He did a quality job and took his time to get everything in place exactly where it needed to be. He even checked the area in the basement under where the door is located, to make sure there weren't any gaps, etc. He was very courteous, honest and knowledgeable and gave us pointers on how to take care of the door and jambs.
