 + -1 moreJosh milks his time when working so he can charge you more. His communication skills are extremely poor and he is very rude. He made several mistakes, I ordered a shower stall he installed the wrong one, the plumbing fixture was installed in the wrong spot and had to be moved, the floor had to be resurfaced. What should have taken him 1 or no more than 2 months took hime 5 months. Do NOT use his services you will be sorry if you do. Hammerit Construction is a scammer.
Description of Work: Add bathroom in basement, some electrical upgrades and was supposed to add a kitchenette area but he never finished it.

 + 0 moreJosh was very professional when he came to do the estimate. To my delight, he was able to do the work the next week. He finished on time an he cleaned up his mess as he went along. The only thing I had to clean was a bunch of drywall dust, but that was inevitable. It looks fantastic.
Description of Work: Josh took the bottom 12" off the drywall on three walls in my living room. He sealed the studs and replaced the drywall. He also put texture on the drywall so that it was ready for paint. He sealed the entire floor. He installed snap-together laminate that I had purchased. He gave me a day to do the painting, and he returned and installed the baseboard and quarter-round.

 + 0 moreFrom a drawing I made (far from architectural or even to scale), Josh and his crew built a fabulous deck and pergola with lighting and a fan. His work is meticulous. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to any one. I loved the result!

 + 4 moreWe can not say enough about the level of service and quality that we have enjoyed with Josh through the years! His attention to detail and follow through are the reason we have used him time and again.
Description of Work: We have had Josh and his crew work with us many times and for many different projects in both our homes and on our farm. In our old home he remodeled our basement and it is the reason we sold our house to the first buyer that looked! He also built bookcases, did tile work, painting and a whole laundry list of things to help us get the house on the market. At our farm he has done landscaping work, major carpentry repairs and projects. His work is outstanding and we have recommended him to everyone we know!
