Well, first of all, let me say I have used Bernhard plumbing a number of times before, since I bought a house and moved to Mayville in Aug of 2011. I have always found them to be very professional, always on time, and priced much better than all the horror stories I have heard about Plumbing Companies in the past. I should have reviewed them before this, but after my last experience, I felt compelled to to pass on just how exceptional the service from this company is.
I just had surgery 2 days before this plumbing problem occurred. I had family visiting for 4 days, (3 other people), that were staying until Sunday night, all to help me, with all the immediate things I was limited in doing after surgery. So on Friday afternoon, my sister takes a shower, and guess what, the handle of the tub faucet breaks clean off, the brass piece inside literally snapping in two. So heres the scenario, I am in bad shape, in a cervical collar, post surgery...I have a Sister, Niece, and her new husband, who was gone ice fishing at the time staying with me, its 2PM on Friday, heading into the weekend, with my only shower/tub totally out of commission. I called Bernhards plumbing, explaining the situation, thinking that no way at this late time, am I going to be saved and get this fixed. First they said they could probably come out special on Sat Morn, since it was late, and they were busy, and hey, that was more than I had hoped for right there. Then after a few minutes of hanging up with them, they called back, said they will have someone in the area in 30 minutes or so, and that he would stop by, to try to get it repaired. Shortly after that, a plumber stopped by, was so courteous to all my Family, and fixed this problem in about a half hour.
Well, I was so grateful, words cannot begin to describe. This is what I call Good Old fashion Service and Professionalism, something that is rare in todays world of service business.
Up until this, their service and rates had always been excellent, and first rate!!!
After this last incident, Their service, Bernhard Plumbing, is the ONLY one I will go with in the future!!

Owner came out reviewed my backup conditions. Quickly reviewed my drain layout and decided where to snake my drain. It was discovered I had a drain root. He quickly snaked the drain and suggested a preventative additive to prevent the roots from growing back. Solution still works.
