My fence installation remains unfinished, yet they have already taken full payment (north of $15k) and it is nearly impossible to reach their office. When I do, the communication is short, cold, and unprofessional. So they processed payment for an expensive, unfinished project yet somehow you can't reach anyone on the phone, and emails that are acknowledged (rare) are typically not much longer than a sentence. The double gate in my fence needs a drop rod put in to function properly. They weren't able to finish it the day of the main installation so they temporarily used a bungee cord to keep the gate in place. The plan was to return the next week to finish the installation. It has now been 9 weeks, and the gate is still tied to a bungee cord. Despite regular efforts (one way: on my part) to discuss the specific timeline for finishing, I can't get an answer. We stipulated in the contract that the company sticker would not be placed on the fence, but it was anyway. The crew that installed the fence was friendly, but the overall experience has been a challenge. I have been patient but will be filing a complaint with BBB, calling Veridian Homes (a major referral source of theirs), and posting on other forums shortly if this remains unresolved any longer.

Your fence installation was waiting on a drop rod that we did not bring when we installed your fence that day. Upon arrival back to our office it was noted that they were out of stock and we immediately placed a new order. You are correct in that we weren't able to get back to you for several weeks later. Our apologies for that as it was end of year and we were trying to finish up all installations before the snow hit. We also removed the fence sign that was installed on the fence post as it's a sticker that is easily removable. We hope you are enjoying your fence and feel free to contact us at anytime should there be an issue. Again, our apologies for the delay."

The overall experience was excellent. From the moment they came for the initial consultation, from the follow up service that was needed when I changed my mind about the fence requirements and they had to re-do the quote, to when they handled all the paperwork seamlessly that Veridian Homes requires, they were always pleasant and responsive. The timelines they gave for all aspects of the fence materials, construction, and follow up service were accurate and met. I was very happy with the appearance of the fence afterwards. It was beautiful. I did not shop other competitors for pricing, but I believe for the quality of the job and materials and the labor involved it seem to be a more than reasonable price. Update in 2022: There was a strong wind that blew furniture off of my neighbor's patio and also separated part of a panel of my fence. I had requested that some adjustments be made and they answered my call and said they would be out within a week! 7 years after the initial installation!! They could not be a better company to do business with, both during and after the sale.

We hired Leading Edge to fence a small area in our back yard after getting estimates from several companies. From the start, they were responsive and communicated promptly throughout the process. The quality of their customer service was excellent, even though it was a relatively small job for them. The installation crew was friendly and professional, and did a great job. They contoured the fence perfectly to fit the sloped yard and filled back soil where needed to level the grade. We would definitely recommend them.

Wonderful! I called many times with questions and they were very patient with me and they explained why other companies were cheaper, and I checked if they were right, and they were! Other companies don't fully remove the cement from the posts which is what I wanted and that is why they were higher, and its what I wanted done. I'm very pleased... they also have a better warranty.

The work crew arrived in a timely manner and installed a beautiful fence however in the process they cut our neighbor's underground dog fence. Unfortunately, this wasn't discovered until recently. After bringing it to their attention, they refused to reimburse my neighbor the $119 it cost to fix it claiming that legally it was a private utility and per our signed agreement, they weren't liable. I have no doubt that they are correct but it's not good business practice. If you decide to hire this company, you will need to protect yourself legally and cover all your bases.

"Our contract terms and conditions, along with our What to Expect email, is put in place to protect homeowners and ourselves from possible issues that may arise when fence installation occurs in addition to set expectations as to what the homeowner should look into, discuss with neighbors, etc. prior to fence installation. Unfortunately, many homeowners neglect to review the information and/or talk to their neighbors about possible concerns they may have with installation, such as an underground dog fence that was the property of the neighbor but installed on this particular homeowner's property. Had the homeowner brought the underground fence to our attention at either the estimate appointment or the final layout appointment, or had their neighbor approached us or the homeowner with their concerns, we would have been more than happy to take precaution had we had known an underground dog fence was installed on the homeowner's property. At that point, we would have happily reimbursed the neighbor for damage had the proper precautions been taken prior to installation. We are sorry the homeowner and/or their neighbor feels the way they do, but unfortunately this situation was not something we could have avoided since it was never brought to our attention beforehand. We have included in our contract terms and conditions, so as to prevent this in the future, for the homeowner to inform us if they have knowledge of an underground dog fence on adjoining properties. These are considered private utilities and are not marked by Digger's Hotline. This way, the issue can properly be addressed. We appreciate the feedback. Thanks [Member Name Removed]."

We had narrowed the field to 3 companies for our job. Leading Edge shone through with their professional and enthusiastic manner in which they presented their product and followed up quickly with a formal bid. We liked the fact it was such a tight knit family company. Kyle, the owner, personally was on the job both days. When completed, he reviewed the construction and future care of the fence if we choose to stain it. Scott and Megan are very thorough and professional as well.
We love our new fence and absolutely would recommend Leading Edge Fence. Thank you, Leading Edge, for our beautiful fence and the awesome asset it is to our yard!
