I have seen Dr Julie with several dogs over a long period of years The dog most recently taken to her was initially not sure but quickly warmed up - she seems to have a calming presence for the animals she treats. The last dog I had taken to her initially was reluctant (due to pain or anxiety or both) to get up onto the comfy adjustment table but within a few visits she would just climb up there and sometimes doze off while being worked on. With several of my dogs, I know these treatments have given my old dogs an extended lease on life with a good quality of life. This is what is most important to me for my animals.

The Veterinarian arrived on time took off her shoes. The Vet waited a while didn't rush in and look at the cats. The Vet took her time until the cats felt comfortable. Then the Vet examined them and was very gentle and thorough and suggested some Omega oil to add the their food. The price was very reasonable for a physical and making a house call.  Approximate cost $100 for two cats, not bad.

Georgia my 14 year old Rottweiler has been seeing Dr. Julie, and some of the other great docs at Animal Holistic Care off and on over the past 9 months. When Georgia's arthritist kicks in I take her to see Dr Julie and or one of the other Docs. Georgia's rear spine and hind quarters over both legs cause a lot of difficulty and pain when walking at times, it is at these times that I take her in for an adjustment and acupuncture for pain management. It is remarkable, after her session she is so calm and happy, you can see the pain has left her face, she is walking, and prancing around. Cost wise this is very reasonable, Georgia is just starting to have some issues 4 months later. I strongly recommend Chiropractic for any animal that is having difficulty walking, standing, sitting, hot spots, arthritist issues, diet issues, etc. give Animal Holistic Care a call.

They really try to tailor services to your particular pet. They really help my dog in keeping him working, reducing pain and helping his movement. The people there are all very caring.

They are a very special business. We have used them for about 15 years. They are part of a hometown run vet clinic. They specialize in alternative medicine. They supplement what traditional vets do. They do acupuncture and chiropractic work. Our dog had cancer and our vet said that we had to do surgery. I then took the dog to Animal Holistic Care Specialists. They gave us some antioxidants that helped with the cancer. We ended up keeping her for another year.

My 14 year old Rottweiler was having rear knee problems since early spring of 2011 and my veternarian and I thought that it was mainly due to old age and the size of my dog. My old girl's pain was getting much worse in early November, I had xrays taken to determine how severe her arthritis was and to see if anything elase was going on. My general vet treating her was great, and was treating to keep her comfortable and to reduce swelling and pain. I wanted to see if there were any Chiropractors for animals as I have had great success using a chiropractor. I found Animal Holistic Care Specialists through the internet and was very impressed with their longevity and experience. I asked my vet if he thought that Chiropractic care might help her and he thought that it was a good idea . He was aware of Animal Holistic Care Specialists and thought that they would be a good choice for my old girl. Animal Holistic Care Specialists is a unique group of vetirnariens that treat animals holistically using chiropractic, acupuncture, natural diet and nutrition, joint yoga and massage. After the 1st visit my old girl could walk on all 4 legs without much pain, and she could wag her tail. I got my Rott when she was 2 years old and in the 12 years that I have had her she has never wagged her tail, I just thought that it had to do with the fact that she had a full tail (not docked) so I didn't think much of it. I mentioned this to Dr. Julie Kaufman and she said that she might be able to help her, it was amazing when we left the office my old girl could walk and wag her tail a bit. We just had our 2nd visit on November 30th and today December 3rd my old girl was walking, running and wagging her tail. She has not needed her pain meds for the past 3 days and is overall one happy tail waggin doggy! If you have not tried Animal Chiropractic for an injured, arthritic or animal with pain I would strongly suggest that you give it a try. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Julie Kaufmann and the Animal Holistic Care Specialists group. Price is very reasonable.
