I highly recommend Jahnke Plumbing. I called several plumbers on a Saturday, and Jahnke was the only one who answered the phone. None of the others ever returned voice messages. Jahnke took my name and information and scheduled the job for Monday (two days later) and it was not even an emergency-- it was replacing some outdoor spigots and installing a Reverse Osmosis system. Prior to his arrival, the owner called me to let me know his estimated arrival time. The owner's son did the work and was very competent. The job proved to be more complicated than he expected, but he did a fine job regardless. When I first called, I asked for a ballpark figure on what it would cost, and when the bill came it was exactly what he quoted. Communication was excellent, pricing was fair, and work was excellent, neat and efficient. You just can't get any better than that.

Awoke to frozen pipes, and needed to take a shower. Called his number after locating from phone book. Spoke to whom I might presume to be his wife, and she assured me the message would get forwarded and he would attempt to arrive the same day. I then washed up with bottled water, and went to work. I arranged to return home from work by shortly after noon (12:20). I left the door open as a family member was sleeping in the home. When I arrived home, I had just missed him, and found the water working fine. I then took a nice hot shower, giving thanks to reliable professional plumbers.
