Zanders Interiors' attractive website pledges "to light the way" with good guidance. That got my eye, as did a lovely, heavy fabric I found there for my drapes. I asked to make new drapes to look like my old ones, which were of light-weight cotton. Made from an excess of fabric, my drapes are bulky and crowd room furnishings. They failed to consider the difference in fabric weight and reduce yardage. Now they blame me for their mistake and refuse to repair or refund. I took them to small claims court and lost because they falsely said that I asked for the drapes to be made to the exact measurement of my old ones. What I actually asked for was to make them look alike, not be made alike, an important distinction. You go to a designer, expecting guidance and judgement, not just a product. You also expect honesty. Beware because you got none of that at Zanders.

I was left with unfinished rooms after spending $20,000 with them. Once my budget for furniture and design was reached, Zanders left me with unfinished rooms after 1 attempt at finding lower cost accessories and furniture. I paid for the time for them to search elsewhere and only liked one of the items bought to my house. Zanders charged for time spent all the time working with me besides the cost of furniture, I understand this is how it works to an extent but even charged me twice for room drawings after first one was incorrect. Designer said she would work with my contractor but didn’t communicate with him.
