Outstanding! This company is small, but does what it says it will do. They do not just do retrofits, but also specialize in alternative energy systems (solar, etc.). This company was featured in the "Green" issue of Madison Magazine, and they live up to their claims. We were very pleased that they took on a hodge-podge of different small projects that added up to sizable work. Other contractors were competitive but pricier; Steve's company did the work on budget with diligence. No nonsense, no extended breaks, used quality parts. One thing was that because they are a small company, it was a bit of a challenge to reach them. The company has an office but, as I came to learn, no office staff; therefore, Steve does all bookkeeping himself (accurately) and takes his calls and e-mail via Blackberry. My persistence paid off significantly! I believe that due to his low overhead that he was able to deliver exceptional quality work and service for low cost.
