Recently their service manager change and after all this time decided they can not service our property. This only occurred after they caused damage to our property last year and again this year..
The came on 7/10 and did a regularly scheduled application. By 7/13 my lawn started to turn brown, in spots. I called tru gree and it took them until today to send someone out to look at what was done. The tru green representative, Stephanie Leverington, advised me that the individual who did the application on 7/10 was a new employee and he did it incorrectly. She said she was sorry that it happened, that's it. I then called tru green talked to someone named Rich, he said he was a manager. I told him how upset I was about what Stephanie had told me. He said people made mistakes, it happens, he said. He said he would send a supervisor out to look at the damage they had caused. Thereafter, a supervisor came to my house and by telephone he confirmed what Stephanie had told me. He said the lawn should be fine by August, that I just needed to water my lawn 10 min every day. No offer to reimburse me for the cost of the application, nothing, just that I needed to water every day at my expense, for my time and the cost of the water. I am outraged at their behavior and I will never use their service again.
The office phone staff is well trained in customer service procedures. My husband insisted that a manager come out to the house so we could go over the issues. It was requested this manager call first so my husband could be there. He came without calling and indicated that issues with the lawn were taken care of by leaving a note. He never did call my husband .
We were very happy we had not done automatic charge card payment which the company always tried to promote. We were able to without payment till the job had been done. I would recommend others do the same.
I think service is really dependent on the person delivering and not consistent across the company.
I ordered a TruGreen complete plan, which included weeds, aeration, over seeding, grub bug control, winter streak stress recovery, root stimulation, etc. We set up an appointment and I paid them for the year, but they never showed up or even called. I tried contacting them and they contacted the employee that was suppose to be out to do it. He confirmed with me he would be out that night, but he never showed up.
This makes me angry because I feel I shouldn't have to keep up on them to get them out here after I have already paid.
