Total Care Dental

I have suffered severe chronic illness as a result of a dental cavitation that formed after a tooth extraction I had done here. Dr. Vandehaar claims he cleaned the area all out but never informed me that a cavitation would likely form and eventually cause widespread systemic infection and chronic illness. These cavitations can happen often without pain or inflammation and cause significant widespread health complications that are common in both root canals procedures and tooth extractions. Multiple dangerous and toxic bacteria and a host of other extremely dangerous bio-toxic pathogens grow the jaw bone and leak out into your entire system especially the heart through the lymphatic system causing diseases like CFS/CIRS/POTS/LUPUS and susceptibility to a host of other serious chronic health issues due to the toxic overload from the infected cavitation or root canal. Never was the word cavitation mentioned to me and never did I receive any care to make sure this was not the case. Traditional dentists have a responsibility to learn the truth about these dental extractions and root canals as many people are beginning to wake up to this significant health crisis of serious chronic disease as a result of improper and uneducated dental care. I'm now having to pay to have ozone therapy and I'm hopeful that this will heal and lessen the overall toxic burden I carry as a result of all of this. You cannot simply remove a tooth without taking out ALL of the ligament, cleaning it properly and then using ozone therapy and imagining to ensure that cavitations don't develop, otherwise you risk causing significant life-threatening harm to your clients. Please do whatever you can to avoid having a root canal or dental extraction by a traditional dentist due to the probability of developing a cavitation. It's not worth developing something like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Gullian-Barre, breast cancer or any of these many chronic disease that a cavitation can lead to according to the documentary "The Root Cause" I have told Dr. Vandehaar about my cavatation and he remains sympathetic but takes no responsibility. The responsibility is mine, so I urge you to educate and inform yourself and do whatever it take to protect yourself when you receive dental care from a conventional dentist who does not take these matters seriously. You will end up will a serious chronic illness while they shrug their shoulders and tell you they did nothing wrong. I'm glad Dr. Vandehaar is having a good life and has a happy family but he needs to seriously consider the life of his patients and their ability to be happy and have a life. They can't do that if they have multiple toxins entering their blood stream through a deadly and hidden jaw bone infection they were never warmed about while receiving his care.

They recruited my wife from another office, talked her out of continuing her education and then let her go after three weeks. One person in the office felt they had contrasting personalities, everyone else liked working with her. The one that had the issue is 20 years older and didn’t have time to train on company practices.

Their work is always excellent across the board.  Fast, reasonable, professional, great facility.

I would give the lady that demonstrated how to use the bleach an F.  She demonstrated with water.  There is no similarity between squeezing out a drop of water and squeezing out a drop of bleach.  The fact is using this product was so painful that I stopped using it and wasted $200.

This is by far the best dental experience I have ever had.  Dr. Vandehaar is very knowledgeable and has a great personality.  I felt comfortable with his staff and the treatment I received.

Everything went like clock work. I was not uncomfortable with either procedure. Wonderful staff, Dr. Salzman, Amber and Tracey were excellent!!! Highly Recommended

Excellent. You don't feel like you are going to the dentist. They have a really beautiful office, that you go in and gives you a calm, lots of natural colors, relaxing place, so you are not thinking about going to the dentist. Alot of the people in the office have worked together for a very long time, so it has a family atmosphere and are always very friendly.

The entire service process at Total Care Dental is quick, efficient and friendly.  Appointments are easy to obtain, and reminder calls ensure an appointment is not missed.  Their up to date process, and clean facility make the routine cleaning appointment a great experience.

We love them. We used them for 21 years. I like their compassion and their expertise in the dental field. Their dentists are always willing to listen and the way they treat their patients. It’s a brand new office. Everything is immaculate. It’s so clean and you can probably eat off the floor. They have a fireplace in it and it’s very comfortable. They’re phenomenal. They will work you in and they will do what they can to get you in. Their customer service is outstanding. Their receptionists are great. They greet you and they remember your name. Their punctuality is outstanding. I never had to wait more than five minutes for my dental appointment.

Walking in, all of the staff are super friendly and very helpful. The waiting room is a very nice space with a variety of teas and water on offer at a bar area, as well as several TV's, large windows, and plenty of comfortable seating. 
  The examination rooms are very nice as well with large windows, a TV over your head during treatments, and comfortable seating. Once again, the dentist and dental assistant were very polite and engaged in light conversation throughout treatment. They seemed genuinely interested in our care and lives, and were super sweet. 
The treatment went well - though I did have to go back as one of my cavities was over-filled, but otherwise it was a painless experience. Will be using them as my main dental office from now on.

I have been going here for about eleven years. Their facility is real nice and is easy to get to. The people here are wonderful, professional, and attractive. I specifically see two of several hygienists here who both do wonderful work. The dentist’s are wonderful as well. After each appointment, we set up the next routine appointment and they can always get me in at a time of my preference. Their billing is also very reasonable and I’ve never had any problems with insurance. They are first rate outfit all around.

It was very pleasant.  The staff was welcoming and friendly.  After a brief dialogue to clarify the problem, my needs were attended to swiftly and competently.  They offered a $100 discount to first-time Angie's List members of which I took advantage.

Couldn't have gone better.  My needs were fulfilled expeditiously and completely.  I hope that future visits wherein more comlicated procedures are indicated are as rewarding.

I love it. I recommend them to my friends. I paid about near $1,000 for the services. I can easily make an appointment, like 2-3 weeks.

It was good. They make me feel comfortable. They were thorough and they did explain what plan of attack to go about fixing some of the concerns that I had.

They are excellent. I have been going for a number of years. I can’t tell you enough good things. They make you almost forget that you’re at the dentist. The office looks more like a spa than it does a dentist office. Everyone is professional and very friendly. They take the worry out of going to the dentist. They are very family oriented. Everyone in their office is outstanding with the part they play in the business. They really try to work with you to work out convenient appointment times. My husband goes here too. He went in about a mouth guard recently. They listen to what you need. They keep the line of communication open and give you options. They are knowledgeable and know their products.

Who knew that a trip to the dentist could be so much FUN!!!   I LOVE my hygienist Tracey, her smiles and professional manner just put me at ease.  She knows how much I hate xrays, especially in the morning, so she makes a effort to get them taken as quickly as she can run in and out of the room.  Great choices of tooth polish also.  She truly cares about her patients and has been seeing our family now for about 20 years - we won't go anywhere else.  When she is done, Dr. Saltzman comes in to visit and give his "seal of approval".  His bedside manner is outstanding, he always remembers our names, and we never wait long for him.  He is great with older adults and kids also.  My 78 year old mother switched to our dentist after my father passed away and she could not be happier with both Tracey and Dr. Saltzman.  She has very sensitive teeth and she always comments on how gentle, yet thorough Tracey and Dr. Saltzman are.  I have three boys that are now all grown, however they all grew up going to the Dentist every 6 months and never were they afraid,they always felt like they were just visiting friends :) 
I have also had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Clark and he too is outstanding.  I have never had a bad experience with this Dental Clinic.  
If there was a rating higher than an A I would definitely give it to Total Care Dental.

I love going there because they are highly skilled and knowledgeable. They treat me like family and know me. The people that work there from the desk, dentist to the hygienist are all warm, caring and friendly. It has really been a good experience. Their availability is good.
