TOBIE'S TILERS LLC

I had received several quotes and Tobie's Tilers was very cost effective.  Mike Tobie was great to work with from the start - flexible to my needs, high professionalism, and did a beautiful installation on what turned out to be a problematic situation.   Since the tile I selected wasn't in stock, he was jammed up to get the installation done Mike before he was leaving on an extended vacation.   When he arrived to install it, he determined that concrete was flaking off and was concerned about long-term tile adhesion. 
This was one more unforeseen problem arising from my prior incompetent and dishonest general contractor and a few of his subcontractors.   Mike could have proceeded to keep on schedule for his vacation, but he brainstormed with me and my new general contractor a range of options that could resolve the situation most effectively for cost and permanence of fix.  The solution chosen was very reasonable cost for me, but far less convenient for him as it required multiple trips to the site to modify the surface and then come back later to install the tile.   They turned it around quickly and did a beautiful job with the installation.  He helped me avoid a 2x cost over-run, and kept my house on schedule for completion.   I would definitely use Tobie's Tilers again, and highly recommend them to anyone else.

This was an emergency. My husband was going to tile the bathroom floor and shower (floor to ceiling), and after finishing the floor, he had some serious back pain that prohibited him from finishing the job. I got Mike Tobie's phone number on Angie's List - called him and he came over the very same day to look at the project and give us an estimate. It was a small enough job to fit in-between jobs, so he finished our project in a couple of partial days. He was excellent and I highly recommend him.

Michael did a beautiful job on my bathroom and he was a real pleasure to work with from start to finish. He made design and color suggestions. He worked quickly and neatly. He went out of his way to get the work done in a timely manner as this was my only bathroom. He does quality work at a very reasonable price.
