Their price was reasonable. They didn?t have a real professional appearance then. They did an excellent job. They covered everything and made sure that nothing got splashed on. They were very non intrusive into my house while they were painting. They were very prompt.

Estimator was punctual and extremely professional. Explained the process in detail and answered all my questions patiently. We picked out colors. We got a reasonable estimate and scheduled pressure washing. Called them with our color choice and set up date for washing. They did a great job and did not mess up our yard. The painter was on time, professional and answered my questions. He was careful of our plants and re-installed our bird feeders, which was appreciated! We were extremely please and are considering having them do some inside painting over the winter.

Did an excellent job and did it in the time promised. Did not demand any down payment not payment before they left the property but submitted an invoice. Some others would have done both. We're thoroughly satisfied.

They were easy to work with, responsive and clearly wanted to meet our needs. They cleaned up at the end of each day so we could live comfortably in the house. They left the house in very good condition when they finished the job.

They did a good job. They were prompt, polite, and professional. A year later my home still looks great.

Average. Larry (contact and estimate) was very helpful and went out of his way to help with color matching, but was not enthusiastic about corrections requested. The painting crew (Mark) was inflexible and not interested in extra effort to do the job right. They did great with spraying, but cut corners on other areas like trim, concrete and metal surfaces. Window edges and rubber seals were handled poorly.
Response from Thrift Painting
"Thrift appreciates the comment that we "did great with spraying" since the spray painting of the soffet, fascia, and siding represents about 98% of the surfaces we painted. We spray many aluminum sided homes each year and people are very satisfied! We applied an additional coat of paint, at no charge and without objection, to some flat smooth aluminum trim surrounding the front window. The homeowner may characterize this as "cutting corners", but sometimes very smooth areas require an additional coat. The "rubber seals" he mentions are the pieces of weather-stripping on the edges of his windows. They should not be painted. We tried to explain that they would not perform correctly if painted. He insisted they be painted. We did paint them for him. We painted a straight line over the jagged old paint on his window edges to improve their look. Typically, on old wooden window sash, you want the paint to be on the glass because it seals the glass/wood joint. The homeowner wanted all of the paint removed from the glass. When the homeowner brought this to our attention, we pointed out that there was a lot of old paint (different color) on the glass. He had not noticed this prior. We did remove all of the paint for him. In retrospect, we should have pointed out the existing old paint on the glass before proceeding."

They did a great job. They called before they came. The work cost exactly what they quoted me for. The estimate was very competitive. It rained on some of the days that they were scheduled to paint, but they worked with my schedule to complete the work. They were very neat and cleaned up before they left. They completed the work in the amount of time they said they were going to. They were very polite and easy to work with.

The painters finished one day early from what they told me in the beginning. The quality of the work was the best! My house looks like a magazine. It was the best thing I ever did. I did request that they did not work certain times of the day and they were fine with that.

Went well. Painter showed up on time each day and kept at it. He was pleasant, tidy, willing to talk about other decorating issues in the house. Taped woodwork and cabinets carefully prior to painting. After painter had finished, I noted a small area between the kitchen window and an overhead cabinet that he had missed. I called and he came back the next day at an agreed upon time and painted the small patch. We paid by check when the job was completed.
