Terminix - Madison -Termite & Pest Control

Was disappointed with their service. Appointments are scheduled automatically, without checking to see if a given time works - they'll call about 15 minutes before showing up to see if you're there. Asked about calling me before scheduling appointments - but they were not interested in offering flexibility in that regard. Based on the casual nature of the first technicians work, I wasn't comfortable with them doing service without me being present, but they were not interested in offering flexibility there either.

The work itself was ok but their scheduling and customer service was a nightmare for 2 years. Everytime I scheduled my service on a Satruday. I did that so I could be home to let them in because I work very long hours and am not home during the day. They always changed it without my permission and without notifying me. The last time I called to cancel they promised it was the local branch doing it and it would not happen again. Well it happened again today so I cancelled all service.
Perhaps it is just the local branch that doesn't care about customer service but they should not let you schedule service for times they have no intention of coming.
I would NEVER hire them again.

I had been fighting a carpenter ant problem for 10+ years and Terminix resolved the issue! Haven't seen another ant for over a year. Their spray was able to attach ants close to openings, as well as queen ants back in the walls.

A few years ago we discovered platoons of little black ants parading here and there in our condo. Terminex got rid of them quickly and without noxious fumes. They spray outside quarterly to keep them from returning. We moved into a newly built home and apparently there is a large anthill underneath our slab! The employees are polite and efficient. I would recommend them. The price is a bit high, but the service gives me peace of mind.

I have had them for probably six years, and the last four years when they happen to spray, they did not knock on the door or did not let us know when they were coming. I noticed that inside house that there had been flies, spiders, and there were times when there were centipedes. On the sheet after they sprayed, it says there was no notice of any of these things when it was obvious there is. They do not try to help the situation. We have been a customer there for so long and having a prepayment and everything, yet, they just do their duties and leave. It is not like they are actually checking. For what they are doing, their price is reasonable. One time when we did contact them, the guy that was here came in and did not even help or try to help.

It was unbeliveable process, bagging everything in every bed room not just the materbed room because they can pass from one to another. Washing, drying, removing. They coming to spray each week and you having to leave your home for 4-6 hours, etc.

Used Terminix previously at old house. After checking on a couple competitors decided to go with Terminix again at new condo. The technician was delayed but did come on a Saturday. He checked the type of ants, discussed the problem knowledgeably, and treated inside and out. While here he noticed evidence of mice entering the basement and set out bait stations for them as well. He told us that the ants problem should be resolved in 7-10 days. At 10 days we were still seeing evidence of ants and called for a free re-treatment. Discovered that we would be getting service from the same tech as at the old house who was good and responsive. He placed more bait and said it should resolve the problem and this is a bad year for bugs in general.
Good thing we had the same tech because the central office had listed our old address for the service call, despite my having told them at least 3 different times to remove that address from their records. They have no problem figuring out what address to use for the bill! The company is national and when the local office is closed or busy, calls go to the national call center. This is both good and bad. Good because you can call any time and bad because they don't know distances and travel times and just assign service calls...sometimes making it impossible for the tech to arrive on time. Our tech knew that we had moved and canceled the contract for the old house, so came here despite the wrong service order information. He gave me his business card and said to call him directly to schedule service or for problems. We will do that in the future and are happy to have an annual pest control contract with Terminix.

I like the technician who comes to our home.  He is very personable and professional.  We signed up for the quarterly routine service, but they come back in between if we have any problems and take care of them for free.  We really like that aspect of the service.

They are fairly good. This summer we are seeing a few more insects than usual maybe because of the unusual weather. We plan to contact them soon. In the past they have done a good job getting rid of ants for us.

They are very reliable. If there is a problem they are very prompt. We live in a wooded area and so we require lots of pesticide intervention especially for mice. They have been just wonderful.  It is the same person that comes out every time.

Professional,service tech is nice and trustworthy. They scheduled around my needs.

The service person I normally have is very courteous, knowledgeable, and pleasant. He knows my house well, and is very responsive. He came right away when I had a wasp problem. I think it gets kind of pricey for the ten minutes they are here. I would use this provider again.

We have been using them for ten years. Their technicians are friendly.

My husband deals with them and we've been using them for a couple of years.  They are okay.  The guy is friendly enough.  He seems to do the job.  I don't really know about the price.  I'm assuming that it must be about the same as others or may be cheaper.  They give a time frame and come within that time frame.  They are fast.  We would use them again as we've been using them for years.            

They spray the whole perimeter of the house for insect control. They're over priced but it works.

Every time I call Terminix to set up an additional service because of the springtails, the person on the phone gives me an appt time and tells me what the exterminator person will do when they get here.  They almost never come during the time frame they say they'll be here and they never do what the person on the phone said they would do.  Terminix never got rid of the bugs and then winter came along and they went into hibernation.  Now that spring is here they are back in full force, along with another type of flying/jumping bug.  I'm starting to feel like Terminix doesn't care about our bug issue and isn't very thorough with their applications. I am now looking for a different pest control service and will only continue Terminix until then, so we don't get ants back.

I am on a yearly contract with them and I am completely satisfied with their service. The pricing was very competitive based on other research we did and they did not try to upsell me. I will use them again in the future.

I have a contract with them. It has been a positive experience working with them. They are dependable. They took care of the mice problem that I had; it was weird how the mice had gotten into one particular closet. I would continue to use them in the future.

They were attentive.  When I called them back about an ongoing problem, they were quick to get back to me.  They were quick to come out and take care of the problem.  I’ve used them once and over the time if they get rid of my pest problems, it would be great.  I would use them again in the future.
