Started ok, except for the scratched paneled wall when initially moving furniture, but it went downhill quickly. Dragged on for almost a year before everything was done and bill settled up. Too much badness to dredge it all up again. The worst was that although the first floor bathroom and walk-in closet floors were covered with 3 inches of water, this fact was ignored until the mold started to grow a few months later, and walls, shower, vanity and vents all had to be ripped out and rebuilt. In several cases carpentry work was so poor that it had to be redone.

They were recommended to my by my insurance guy. They gave me a prompt quote then worked with the insurance company to get the numbers verified. Came to the house on time and finished the job in 2.5 days. Cleaned up around the house with no damage to side or shrubs. Only questionable thing was I asked them to give me a quote on redoing a master bath, he came and looked at it but never gave me a quote after?

A different roofing group, not Superior, redid our whole roof 7-8 years ago, so when it started leaking we called them for repairs. They did a repair very inexpensively... and three months later we had water literally running down from our ceiling recessed lights. So we had them out for a second set of repairs, which they did very inexpensively... and water was running down a different wall three months later. Communication and responsiveness were poor at best, and the roofer never apologized or implied that there was anything unusual about the situation.
I explain this to contrast with with Superior, which was essentially the opposite in every way. They were extremely responsive, kept us informed through the process, proactively checked in if there was any delay, and (we felt) did a good and thorough job diagnosing the problem. They had multiple people check in with us, and the day of the work there was an on-site supervisor (one who had helped make our estimate) at the beginning of the day to make sure everyone understood what should happen.
In exchange, the work cost a good deal more than the other roofer... and I was happy to pay it. Time will tell, but my confidence is much higher that they actually fixed our problem. I felt like we were dealing with an actual, professional company (rather than working with some guy who hired a couple of other guys who were just putting in their hours).
This wasn't an insurance claim, but we heard about them through our homeowner's insurance agent, who uses Superior for hail damage assessments. That makes me think they're likely to do good work that holds up over time, since otherwise my insurance company will have to cover more repairs in the future.
