Wonderful! Honest about options and did not try to upsell me to my current type that are twice the cost.

The exam was very thorough and professional, and I was treated with courtesy and respect. After the exam, I selected a frame from their extensive collection, and new lenses were ordered. Several days later, the lens arrived . . . but they had been incorrectly ground, so had to be re-ordered. The Eye Clinic phoned in the new order, and I had them within just a very few days. They were now correct, and I am enjoying my new glasses. I appreciate their efforts to make things right, and will be happy to return there for future eye care needs.

He has equipment to do a really good job.  He is so thorough and professional.  I also get glasses from him.  The staff are all A's.  I have been seeing them for 19 years.

Dr. Steinhauer is everything a doctor should be - friendly, thorough, knowledeable. His staff is very friendly and helpful. He's prompt and comforting. I've seen him since I was a kid, and he helped me through my Lasik surgery (did the pre/post op).
I'm always amazed at how he remembers different details about what was happening in my life the last time I went. I'm sure it's written down in his notes somewhere, but it definitely makes me feel like he really cares.
The only downfall I can think of is that I wish his staff was a little bit more opinionated when I was picking out glasses. I'd like to hear a "those don't look as good as others on your" or a "those look great!". But overall, the whole experience is great.

My appointment started as soon as I got there. The receptionist took me back to do the glaucoma (?) test (the one where they shoot air in your eye) and then asked me a couple of questions. Then brought me to the exam room. Dr. Steinhauer arrived very shortly afterwards. He is friendly, courteous and professional.The exam didn't take long and I was sent with my new contacts prescription. I didn't feel any pressure to purchase my contacts directly from them, but the prices are actually very competitive with online providers.I've been back a couple additional times to purchase boxes of contacts and have always been greeted kindly and helped quickly. Everyone is very friendly.

I did not need new glasses. It is covered by my insurance. I like him very much.

Overall, the experience has been good. He has good equipment, is a nice man, and doesn't over recommend intervention, which I like. The staff is friendly and it's a very professional office.
