Customer service provided by Christa Sweeney was very rapid and to the point - I always got either a call back from one of her assistants, or a text / email or call back from Christa. I was frustrated with UWCU's loan officer that never picked up his phone - I always had to leave a voicemail and had to wait for a call or email back.
Christa clearly worked her backside off to get the deal done. Low closing cost too, cheaper than UWCU and same rates.
Their office is next door to Bonfyre/Silverminesubs.

Our Realtor, Alvarado Group, recommended River Valley Bank and Christa Sweeney to us. She helped us get a pre-approval and determine how much the bank would be willing to lend us, and also answered a variety of questions we had along the way before we even put in an offer. We also researched some other options, namely Credit Unions, and found that not only was Christa the most responsive, and that River Valley offered us the best interest rate too.
Once we did put in an offer and it was accepted, she was amazing working with us to get all our paperwork in order for the mortgage underwriting process, and kept us in the loop as that progressed. Everything went through alright, and Christa even came to our closing which was great, especially for a first-time homebuyer, because she was able to be another trusted voice on our side of the table for any questions that came up about the paperwork. Christa supplied us with many of the closing documents a couple days early so I had a chance to review them before the actual closing meeting.

I can't tell you enough how impressed I was with Christa Sweeney and River Valley Bank. From the day we discussed our options to the day we closed, we got excellent service. For example: we ended up buying a short sale. Because the process took almost 3 months (on the sellers side, not ours) it put us in a position where we had to close and be out of a rental in a very fast time. Christa stayed on top of everything and got us (miraculously) closed in time. I also appreciated how knowledgeable she is with Wisconsin programs from closing cost assistance to loan options. When it came time to pick our loan type Christa crunched all the numbers from all the loan options and then we were able to make the best decision for us. We ended up with a great APR, a great loan and their fees are really reasonable. I was very pleased and would highly recommend River Valley Bank and Christa Sweeney to anyone. They are a local (Wisconsin) bank and they treat you like a friend.
