Nikolas Professional Tree & Shrub Care

The first part of the work was done last last year, then we got snow and they came back in the Spring when the snow melted to remove the stumps. They cleaned up and removed larger stump pieces that could not be shredded. Shredded what could be done. Raked up any branches left on the lawn. Very pleased with both the price and the work done.

I liked his personality and his professionalism. He pointed out some different things that the other companies didn't that we were impressed with.

Nikolas returned my call within hours and came by to assess the job the next day. He provided a very reasonable written estimate on the spot and he and his crew were there the next day to complete the work. They were prompt, professional, and did an excellent job. We were in no trouble so timing was not essential, but he contacted us a week before he was to be here and showed up exactly on time. The job was done efficiently and the clean up was as if he and his crew had never been there. He told us what he was going to do and gave us a reasonable price and then executed to the letter of the contract. Crew arrived on time on the communicated date and required no direction during morning preparation. Company took care of coordination with MGand E for electrical disconnect in order to proceed with removal. Crew quickly and efficiently removed two arborvitae and one large maple tree in less than a day, and did and outstanding job with cleanup. Very little disruption to neighbors day to day activities or street traffic. Price quoted was final price. Very detailed, precise, and professional operation.

Nikolas provided me with a printed quote when he came to take a look at the tree and the service was completed much quicker than I anticipated. The crew did a great job and were very courteous. They left the yard looking perfect.
I also appreciated the fact that they climbed the tree before felling it to make sure there were no baby squirrels in the nest in the tree.

Nikolas came one evening and bid the job which was very fair. He said would be able to do the job the next morning. By 7:45 the next day he was at our property, with his crew, did his the job perfectly and finished in an hour. Eight trees gone and you wouldn't know Nikolas had been on the property. Amazing job! They were timely and did a wonderful job in taking down the tree and removing the stump with a stump grinder - very precise and efficient. All the debris was removed from the property. Very clean and professional work. They did a great job!

I have used them for a while. I spent a lot. My neighbor was using them on their trees so I went with them. They do a really good job of cutting down the trees and a couple of years ago I had the same trees trimmed and they did a really good job too. They are insured and all that stuff also. Nikolas is really easy to work with and I met their crew and they are really good too. They are very responsive. They gave me a ring when they were going to be there and I didn't have to be there. There was one thing I didn't like that he did. He had to take a section of fence down to get his equipment in the back yard and he didn't put it back up.

It went well. Price was provided ahead and very soon after I requested it. Insurance forms were on their website. Finished the job quickly and hung around despite heavy rain. Much lower than other estimate.

Nikolas was great. His was one of four estimates we received, and was one of the two lowest. He was able to schedule the work within the week. He was professional and flexible with us as we negotiated with our neighbors about accessing their yards to do the work. Cutting the dead elm tree required climbing it, since there was no way to get a vehicle close to the tree. He and his crew did this work carefully, and successfully navigated a telephone wire one large branch was leaning on. He also trimmed a large tree very artfully. Although a great deal was trimmed (of necessity), the tree does not look naked or over-trimmed, as was our concern. It is now in perfect balance with the property and street. It looks lovely! They did a good job with cleanup overall, and chipped the trees and left us the mulch as we requested.
