He checked everything and found that there was one electrical box that was leaked on a lot. He brought it up to code. He was not out very long. He will do what he has to do to do the job right. He runs very straight lines and does the work very neatly. Part of the code in the area says that in the basement you do not need to run conduit or bury the electrical lines in wood, but he does. He drills through the studs and buries the lines. I appreciate the extra time that he takes to do the job right or at least what I consider right. He probably costs a little bit more because he is independent, but I feel that I get what I pay for.
