After repartioning the hard drive on my used IBM/Lenovo computer and reloading Windows XP, I was unable to access the Internet. The technician at my Wildblue support center helped narrow the problem to an inoperative Ethernet port due to a
missing or messed up driver. He suggested that I contact The Geek Squad at the local Best Buy store. I did that, but balked
at paying $199.00 to have them do the job. I went to a nearby Milwaukee PC shop and was told that they could download the
drivers and install them on my computer by Monday if I brought it in by 2PM that day, which was Saturday. The technician called
Monday forenoon saying the computer was ready. I picked it up a short time later and was charged the $73.00 that was
specified earlier.The technician even gave me a copy of the drivers on a CD so that I could do the job myself in the future.
That certainly was great service at a bargain price!
