Maly Roofing

I paid a lot of money to have the work done including the gutters. I was told I would have no problem with the gutters draining. During this time of year there are no seedlings over the gutters. Even with the screens over the gutters the ones in the back are overflowing after I was assured this would not happen. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the owner and was threatened with his truck by him.

The charge was insane--$680 for a visual check of a single skylight, which lasted less than an hour?! They said that from their visual inspection, the skylight was properly installed, so it was not a complicated case at all.
Why did Maly charge us 8 hours (85 hourly charge * 8 hours) for such a simple job? I asked them but they were very slow to return calls, and rude and unhelpful when I finally got to talk to them.
In the end, I had no choice but pay their bill because my condo association made me to.
I'm not impressed with the roofing work they did for our condo back in 2010 either. 1. Leaks! We had leaks around the chimney after they reroofed, but never had this problem before. Two condo units had skylights and Maly reflashed them during reroofing. Both units reported skylight leaks afterwards. Our skylight installed by Waunakee Remoelling did not leak.
2. They were very careless at worksite and left a large number of long nails around in the yard. Dangerous to kids!
3. They damaged a window screen of ours and it took them two months to replace it.

Full roof replacement several years ago and recent contact was for fallen tree damage assessment.

Good, courteous, their work appears to be high quality. They could clean-up better but I am sure if and when I ask, they will take care of anything.

They did a real good job, they were there and worked at it. The foreman checked up on them and even checked with me what I thought.
