 + -1 moreThey cleaned the whole house and they left stains in the living room. They came back and cleaned them again and the stains were still there. They were more expensive than anybody else. They don't brush the carpet, wash, or change the ph balance in their machines.
Description of Work: Cleaned carpets in entire townhome.

Description of Work: All aspects - office staff/scheduler (also the company owner), estimate, explanation of service, ability to get most spots out, and 'stated' product safety - i.e., green-ness of product (very important to me) were excellent! After cleaning the carpet, the filtered dirty water was safe enough to be dumped on my parched front lawn - though this was not pushed - I asked as a way of testing bio-OK-ness. Only suggestion I'd pass on to others: scotch-guarding was suggested when estimate given. I called local rug company from whom I purchased carpet to check on the carpet fabric as I vaguely recalled something about scotch-guard. Rug company told me my carpet should not have scotch-guard used on it because fabric has own built-in resistance. Glad I checked on this and would suggest that company policy be to ask customer if they know about their carpet's fabric related to scotch- guard i.e., not assume that all carpet requires this. This is a small local company (one run-cleaning professional, I believe, and an apprentice) that I was pleased to patronize.

 + -1 moreWe have used them for many years and I am very pleased with them. They are very thorough. They use chemicals that are safe for my two cats. The move all of the big furniture and are very quick. They get rid of all of their own water. They can get any stain out of my white carpet and make it look new.

 + -1 moreThey are really good and it went very well overall. It was just one guy and he came in and got everything set up. He did the spot treatment, carpet cleaning and scotch- guarding all kind of things and was out of there really quickly as well. After he left he called and left me a voice mail that he forget to tell me that if I have any stains that occur in the next 24 hours, the scotch guard wouldn't have dried in; so here are the steps that I need to take in this order to try to get it out. If these things don't work, then I had to call them back. I thought that was really cool.
Description of Work: I use Madison Area Carpet Cleaners and the last time they did some work was approximately a month ago.
