Linda P Hancock Calligraphy & Design

Linda Hancock was wonderful to work with. She is not only the picture of professionalism but she is also warm and welcoming. I felt as though I had known her forever. It is obvious how bright she is in speaking with her. I felt that Linda put her heart and soul into this project. She accepted the materials I brought to her with examples of artwork I liked. I know she did further research on her own. It is evident that Linda put much thought into the artwork on the page and also into the written text. Some people may think that $360.00 is a hefty price. I think it was well worth every penny. This turned out to be a work of art. Looking at it, it is obvious the time and talent that was put into its making. I usually do not spend this much on a wedding gift, but not only was it for a special niece it is truly a one of a kind piece of art. Shannon's wedding was held at Gaelic Park in Oak Forest, IL. The theme of the wedding was her and Dan's ethnic heritage. The piece is currently being framed. I chose a wooden frame in a distressed green that has a carved design that brings to mind old oak trees. It should be done next week. The first thing I will do with it is to bring it to Linda Hancock to show her the finished work. I will be making a special trip into Madison to do this because I know Linda will be very appreciative of seeing it finished. Linda had invited me to stop into her office any time that I find myself in the area. This was a great experience. Linda made it very comfortable and personal. I look forward to working with her in the future. My husband's niece is getting married this October. His family is Polish. I am thinking of doing the same type of toast in Polish and having Linda put it into calligraphy. I would recommend Linda to anyone that has a project big or small.
