I worked with Liz Lauer to buy my first home, and I had an awesome experience. I feel so lucky that Liz was my realtor. She was patient, kind and straightforward. She educated me so much on what I should be looking for and what was realistic. I never felt rushed and I never felt like she was impatient with me. Every time we walked into an open house, the other realtors would greet Liz - it's clear everyone in town knows her and respects her. We had a short window to make our first visit to the Madison area to search for a new home. Tobi cleared much of her schedule to be able to help us.  With pre-coordination before our arrival, in the first two days of our visit, Tobi was able to show us a variety of houses in areas that suited our needs.  She listened to what we were wanting, and although the number of houses that fit the bill was limited, gave us good options.  We were able to find a house we liked, pay it a second visit and put in an offer by day 3.  Tobi was very helpful pointing out features of a house that we might have overlooked.  She also was good at explaining the Madison area housing market, and the characteristics of the various Madison neighborhoods.  She was there for us during our walk-throughs and closing.  She made the whole process uncomplicated and enjoyable.  We were impressed with her knowledge of not only the existing home market but the builders as well.  We ended up confidently buying a new home in a great neighborhood and are looking forward to our new life in Madison.   We would recommend her to any friend looking to buy in the Madison area.

Liz and her team could not have done a more stellar job for me.  Early on I was very eager to get a house, and Liz did a great job of reeling me in and made sure that I did not pay too much for a house, even though she could have made a quick commission and moved on to another client.  She was CLEARLY always looking out for the best interest of the client.  She was always very honest about providing feedback, both positive and negative, about any houses we would look at.  It was so wonderful having an agent who I could trust 100% start to finish for the whole project.  Liz and her team were true professionals:  prompt, honest, responsive, and eager to help in every way.

I had a favorable experience with them. She represented the seller of the home that I purchased and one of her colleagues helped us as the buyer’s representative. I have had past experience where she represented me as a seller. She is very energetic and knowledgeable about her area of work. She is forthright and would represent anyone well.

Liz Lauer helped my husband and I purchase our first home as well as sell it. As a buyer's agent, Liz was extremely knowledgeable about the area neighborhoods and houses. She was very easy going and fun to work with. Liz was also very good at identifying what kind of house we wanted and forthright about the conditions of the houses we saw. She helped us find and obtain the exact kind of house in the neighborhood we wanted within our budget. 

Five years later when we sold our house, Liz helped us efficiently and effectively stage the house. We accepted a respectable offer in one week of the house being put on the market. One week before the closing, a major problem arose on the buyer's end that would have jeopardized the sale of our home and impeded our ability to purchase the home in which we were about to move. It was midday Friday
on the start of a holiday weekend, with a mere four business hours remaining prior to closing, and Liz ensured the problem was resolved on time. Our house sold as scheduled thanks to her tenacity.

Liz even helped us find a realtor to use in the city we moved to by speaking with agents until she found one that would be able to best understand our needs. My husband and I highly recommend Liz Lauer and will use her services again should we ever move back into the area.

We needed to relocate from out of state fairly quickly and wanted to find a house within our price range but also close to the University. We were also first-time home buyers. Liz Lauer and associates really knew the area and the market well, and were able to show us several houses in just a few days that met our qualifications. Being out of town clients, it was challenging to find time to efficiently look for a condominium property.  We had been using a different realtor who could not exactly figure us out. As a couple we had somewhat different goals and expectations for the kind of property we wanted.  We were a bit frustrated until we were referred to Liz Lauer by a local resident while chatting in a bar. We were told that Liz really knows the neighborhoods we were interested in. We have never regretted working with Liz.  She was patient and waited for us to realize what we wanted, although she seemed to know that before us!  We have been extremely happy with the property she found for us, at the right price, too!  We will definitely turn to LIz in the future when and if we buy another property in Madison.

As first time homebuyers we were nervous and uncertain.
