Technician showed up on-time and diagnosed the problem very quickly. Needed to order a part to complete the repair. The replacement part took a week to arrive as promised. Same technician brought the part and completed the repair very quickly. It cost us just a little over $100, much cheaper than buying a new washer as another company had suggested without even coming over to look at the washer!

Technician arrived on time, had the right part, installed part and tested DW. It worked perfectly. He was courteous and answered all the questions that I had and cleaned up after himself.

After purchasing a used dryer and using it for a couple months, I noticed a rumbling noise. Andy arrived, and said the rollers were bad and needed replacing. Once replaced I mentioned that I felt it was making more noise than it did before! He attempted to fix the problem but couldn't at that time. He said he'd call me the next morning, which he did, and said his research showed the felt around the drum needed replacing as well. Sigh. The following Monday, he and a fellow repairman showed up, disassembled the unit, cleaned some buildup they noticed on the drum in the area where the rollers ran, reassembled the unit....and proclaimed it done. Much quieter. Please note, the felt was NOT replaced - no need they said - and the final bill only included ONE trip and short amount of work time, in spite of the 3 or 4 hours spent in total. Amazing! I will call them again when needed, no question.

My washer stopped working and wouldn't drain. Both my husband and I worked on it to try to get it to drain. We followed all the suggestions in the owner's manual. It worked for a couple of loads, then it quit for good. I called Kirch Appliance on Tuesday and wasn't able to get an appointment until Friday afternoon. On Friday, Josh showed up right on time and diagnosed the problem as a faulty pump almost immediately. He said he would need to get back to the shop to get a price and told me he would call me later that afternoon. Sure enough, he called me later that afternoon with a quote for the pump and labor of approximately $175.00. Unfortunately, he said he couldn't get the part in until Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week. I set up an appointment for the following Thursday. On the following Thursday, Josh arrived within the time frame expected and spent about 45 minutes taking the washer apart, replacing the pump, and putting the washer back together. He made sure the washer was working properly by trying it on a few different cycles. He then gave me the bill, which was within $5 of his quote. I live in the country in Columbia County. Many Madison companies won't service Columbia County. The one company in Columbia County about 25 minutes from me said they don't do service on LG washers. The price for the work, part, and travel was extremely reasonable, and we will definitely use them again if the need arises. Thanks for allowing us to have clean clothes once again!

They did find the problem and fixed it. It turns out there was a plug in the drainage mechanism that another company had missed. The technician was very careful and thorough, which is why he found the problem. The pricing was fine.

Called Kirch Appliance on a Saturday to schedule a service visit. Repairman (I believe it was the owner, Ted) arrived as scheduled on Tuesday A.M. It was discovered at this time that the flexible gas line that had been used to connect the dryer (when it had been functional) had since been damaged. Repairman scheduled to return on Thursday A.M. with a new gas line so that it dryer could at least be safely connected in order to diagnose the issue. (This was my bad, as I didn't realize the line was damaged until I went to hook it up when he arrived). Repairman returned Thursday A.M. as scheduled. He determined the issue was a faulty ignitor, which he replaced and then vacuumed out the inside of the dryer before reassembling it. He determined that the other dryer and washer that I had were items he could use, and agreed to wave the service visit charge in exchange. Scheduled to return on Saturday (after his business hours) with his truck. Arrived on time on Saturday, at which point I assisted him with removing the washer and dryer. Overall, the serviceman was punctual, courteous, and affordable. I also couldn't be happier that he could use the other machines in his shop (a local 'Mom and Pop' appliance store). I would use Kirch Appliance in the future for appliance repair and will also check them out when [the wife decides that] we need to replace our fridge and/or stove.

Couldn't have been any better. Came out when no one else wanted to. Gave me an accurate estimate, before he even saw it. Extremely punctual and professional.

The first time I was scheduled for a visit, they didn't show up until three hours after their call time; I had given up and left the house to pick up my son from summer camp, and of course that's when then they came. The second time was better, and they showed up in their window of time. The repair guy didn't have the part he needed, so we scheduled for a third visit. He did leave the machine in a condition that I could use it. Turns out, that's how it was fixed--the machine didn't actually need that part, and he didn't need to come back. Not that impressed with their knowledge of the machine, but a nice enough guy.

He was very professional and covered his feet. He turned the machine on and off and listened to me. He suggested I put towels in because I have small loads and it was over balanced and walking across the floor. I thought I was going to need something new. I called and left a message and didn’t get a response so I had to call them back a couple of days later.

Gas oven was not heating up. Kirch said they could come the next day and then showed up right when promised. Took only a few minutes to determine what the problem was, then another 10 -15 minutes to replace a small part. Repairman was friendly and explained what the problem was and how it could be fixed. Trip charge was about $65 plus about $35 for the part. I have used them a few times before and found the same - prompt, friendly, affordable service.

Repairman evaluated the machine and was honest about value of repairing. He did a low cost repair since the higher cost repair would have cost as much as a new machine. I appreciated his honesty.
