Isthmus Surveying

Very well. Came out within a week and it took about an hour for the job to be completed. If not for the weather they would have come sooner. They were patient with the neighbors who had been out in their years observing and walking the property lines as well.

Well, timely, understands my needs. Need a drawing though.

I only had a chance to speak on the phone but Paul was very thorough in explaining possible outcomes with verifying my property lines. He pulled up information on my lot and was spot on with the estimate. Additionally, he accommodated my rush to get the lines marked and did the job a few days before his original availability, which he had no obligation to do as I had called only 3 business days in advance. He also placed extra markers exactly where I needed them even though I was not home at the time and we had only spoken once on the phone.

We recently purchased a home and needed a survey to determine actual property lines. Isthmus Surveying was recommended by Angie's list. We called Paul and received very good service. He was prompt and thorough. We were very happy with his work and would highly recommend him.

Very thorough survey to identify and document property lines. Paul did a
very good search for prior records before arriving, spent a good deal
of time searching for existing markers and surveying to confirm boundary locations. As a result, we have clear poles marking boundaries at the back of the property and markers etched into the concrete marking the property lines at the front. We also have excellent drawings identifying where the boundaries are in relation to existing structures on the property, for our records. Surveyor also filed copy of 2013 survey with relevant gov. office. Paul was professional, helpful, and very pleasant to work with from start to finish. Enthusiastically recommend him. The cost was more than reasonable for the amount of work done.

Paul did a great job. He gave us a reasonable estimate for when he could complete the project, and then met that timeline. He had warned us when we initially called in that if any iron stakes were missing, the cost would go up because he would have to file documents with the local government. Sure enough, we were missing a stake, but Paul's work still came in under his highest estimate. We highly recommend Paul and Isthmus Surveying.

Pretty simple no complaints

We needed to verify the lot corners as a contingency on the sale of our house. I contacted Paul a couple weeks before the work needed to be done and he gave me a range on the price based on what he might find and what he might need to do. We scheduled the work and shortly after, I had to reschedule. Paul was very flexible and responsive. He came out this morning and found and verified all of the lot corners. He told us they were all there and in the correct place, so he didn't have to reset any of them. His price for this was actually under the lowest estimate he gave me. I appreciate his help, punctuality, and honesty. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of surveying services.

Friendly and professional. Provided me with a detailed map of the property. Otherwise, two small issues: said he'd come the week after I called, but didn't come until the following week. When I first called I told him I wasn't in a hurry, so that turned out all right. He did call the day before he arrived. Also, I got a verbal quote that was kind of loose. The final invoice was about 30% more than I anticipated. I recommend his services, but advise getting a written quote first.

I spoke to Paul on the phone to tell him what we were looking for. He gave me 2 possible quotes that would be determined by what he found when he came out to the house. He came out a week after I first talked to him. He was very personable, friendly, and professional. He took the time to explain to me how he located the lot lines and what he found. The job took about an hour and a half.

I called Isthmus Surveying on Tuesday 6/16/09 as the initial step in replacing our fence. There seemed to be a question about whether our existing fence was actually in the right place; ie: on our property line. I spoke to Paul Spetz, who was very friendly and helpful. He emailed me the diagram/plat sketch of our lot. He was able to come two days later, which was today. In about 45 minutes, he had surveyed everything and located all of the stakes and showed me the one that was missing. I was very satisfied with all aspects of the service he provided and would recommend Isthmus Surveying.
