First of all, Martine was awesome. She is very friendly and communicates all the information very clearly. I enjoyed asking her questions and learning about this process and what it entails. She did 3 or 4 tests in a finished basement corner for me where I knew some water came in through a window. One test in particular came back so extremely high it scared us. Much higher than normal, in the hundreds of thousands - they recommend remediation immediately at just a couple thousand. So naturally we moved right ahead with mold remediation from a company that does this, only to find that there was barely anything at all back there. The dry wall and insulation had barely any mold on it.
I do not blame the mold tests entirely since it is quite possible that when the air was sampled it came from exactly within a tight concentration of mold in the insulation, although small. What I would warn others about is to be very cautious about mold tests as they can vary throughout the day, and it seems that mold remediation is the new big industry (my opinion). I would have been fine without the nearly $2,500 remediation costs we ended up doing because of this abnormally high test.
For those that can actually visibly see mold in their home, I would recommend this service. For those like me who were unsure about what lies behind the wall.....wear a mask and carefully remove a piece of wall for yourself, and if you see mold, call Martine. I'm sure the mold testers would disagree on removing the wall yourself, but it might save you a few thousand and lots of construction pains.

Martine was knowledgeable and professional.  I loved that she brought covers for her shoes (the fact that she respected my house went a long way).  I felt she went above and beyond the inspection by pointing out other areas within the home that I should consider replacing/upgrading/testing.  I received my test results within the week and she made herself available via phone and email to answer my remaining questions.  Months after having my tests completed, she is still willing to serve as a resource.  This proves her passion for the job.  I will be using her again in the future and would recommend her to anyone.

As an individual who suffers from mold related exposure and knows quite a great deal about its impact on health, I was floored by Martine's knowledge and sensitivity in this area. This work is truly from a very dedicated space within her heart to ensure optimal health for others. I genuinely appreciated her sound guidance/advice and felt very easeful in asking questions. She returned our calls promptly, our lab results were in within 48 hours, with a full report.
She provided referrals for services we needed to follow up on, all of which were very reputable as well.

We have had a bad smell off and on in our living room for the past 2 years.  We hired another "mold specialist" who walked through our entire house, stayed for 5 hours, overcharged us and didn't even test for mold.  He told us to change our carpeting which we did, but the smell came back.  That's when we called Martine.
Martine was very punctual in getting back to me about scheduling an appointment.  When she came to our home, she was incredibly friendly and helpful.  She focused on the wall that the smell was coming from and took two tests.  She also took a sample in our basement ceiling which was under the wall that we were concerned about.  She is obviously an expert in her field. She mentioned that she teaches other people about mold testing so she really knows her stuff.  She called me the personally the next afternoon with the results of the tests and e-mailed the information as well.  It turned out that we did have mold in our wall all along!   
I hired a company to come in and do a mold remediation.  They spoke with Martine throughout the process.  Martine even came back after the remediation was complete to make sure the mold was gone.  She found a few traces and called the company personally to let them know her findings.  She also didn't charge any extra for the second trip to my home.  
I would highly recommend Martine to anyone and everyone.  Don't call anyone else!  No one could be better - she is truly top notch!

It went really good.

There was some visible mold in the basement of a home we recently purchased.  We were aware that the basement had water issues, but had been dry, including a dehumidifier, for the 10 months since we purchased.  The mold still concerned us so we hired Environmental Testing to determine if we had anything serious to worry about.  They did a great job of taking samples at the locations we wanted, as well as visually inspection the entire basement pointed a couple more small areas that might be an issue - just for our info, they did not push additional testing.  Upon completion of the inspections (about 1 1/2 HR) they discussed what they had seen and advised us that there MIGHT be a serious issue that we would need to deal with immediately,  The tests were sent to an approved lab for analysis, and the results were available in just a couple days, and we happy to see that the levels of mold in the air were not of a concern, and they type of mold on the surfaces was not overly dangerous and can be removed fairly simply,

Excellent service.  Martine was on time and very professional. She thoroughly inspected our basement and crawl space, and collected an air sample as well as a wall scraping sample from a suspicious area in the crawl space.  We received the test results the next day. Martine also provided advice on how to clean and treat the basement walls and things to look for when planning our basement remodel.We were very pleased with the service and would hire her again in the future.

Martine was professional, prompt and EXTREMELY thorough. She gave us an in-depth analysis of what is working and what needs to be fixed regarding our mold situation. She was patient with our questions and gave us much reassurance that we could do the project ourselves or with an affordable company. She also provided a detailed step-by-step list of what to do should we choose to do it ourselves. Overall, she was a great resource at a very affordable price.

She was able to visit just 1-2 business days after I called. When she arrived she asked questions and took samples, then shipped them to a lab for analysis.
She called with the results just 3 business days later, emailed them to me, and walked through the results and their meaning.
She was helpful and professional throughout the process. Because of the repeated problems in a finished basement area, but no visible evidence of mold, I was at a loss of what to do. A mold abatement service (Dirty Ducts) recommended Martine as a first step to figure out the nature of the issue.
It was a relief to have someone with lots of experience reviewing our situation and giving advice. We'll definitely hire her again as needed.
