We'd been having trouble with our furnace--fan hadn't been turning on appropriately, but with proper attention we were able to heat the house (as such our problem wasn't necessarily an emergency). However, they were able to make it out to our house the same day that I called, and fixed the problem. The technician gently suggested that I might like to install a new furnace some time soon, as the part that had broken(and most other parts for that model, for that matter) were not available any longer. But as I was hoping to avoid this step at present, he was very understanding and offered a few options that would fix our problem with somewhat of a retrofit. The furnace has been working well since. Hopefully we'll have a few years of life left in the current furnace, but when the time comes I wouldn't hesitate to go with them again.

Seemed ok except the serviceman sent did not know how to open the boiler to insert a water conditioner which we have been told in the past by this same company it is very important to do. He said it was not necessary.

The job went very good. The job took a day and a half to complete. Due to a close wall that the previous owners put up, the job was a little more challenging. This was part of a Green Madison, Focus on Energy project and the company was very good and knowledgeable with the extra paperwork. Heating and Cooling Inc. even went out of their way and vented a bathroom fan for me that was not on the bid (added time and material charge). I highly recommend Heating and Cooling Inc.

The installation was fast and professional. Installation started at 8:30 a.m. and wrapped up by the end of the day. They had to vent the new units through the side of the house, which was accomplished with minimal disruption. Before beginning installation, the owner of the company took time to meet with us -- both to provide an estimate for the furnace/water heater and to decide which configuration we wanted. We liked that he provided us with options rather than just recommending a single brand/model. Overall, they were knowledgeable, efficient and clean. We will definitely work with this company again in the future.

I was very impressed with the survice. While they were here, they figured out I needed a new water heater. What I found the most impressive was that I'm doing a security deposit check with a tennant and I needed them to come out ASAP. He was very responsive and came out right away. The workers were all very friendly and courteous and they did a good job.

.Heating and Cooling is a family owned company that does little advertising and relies on return customers. We have always been satisfied with their work whether it is just to check our boiler at the start of the heating season or replace the air handler in the attic crawl space.

He was very reasonable and fixed it in 10 minutes. They are a family owned company and very honest and professional. They do know what they're doing and are very knowledgeable.

They did a great job. They did the job right where I've had other companies fowl up the job and make it worse. A split system is a difficult system to work on and they really knew what they were doing.

They did great work at a phenomenal price (half of the other bid I received). I had to be a little patient since it was peak season and they were busy with clients with no heat. They came up with a very practical solution to get me efficient heat in the most affordable way. I have used these guys for service and other installs over the past 20 years and I would not use anybody else.

Very positive experience with everybody from Heating and Cooling. Company owner came to give estimate. He spent quite some time answering my never ending questions and gave what appeared very honest comments on what needed to be done and what could be done if desired without big sales pitches. Prices were fair and straightforward. No pressure in making a quick decision like with all other companies that I worked with for estimates. Installation crew worked efficiently, on time, and cleaned up well. Office personnel was responsive and Hand C filled out all the coupon and registration materials for me. We were very happy with the overall experience and love the new heating and cooling system (Bryant).

Heating and Cooling Went the extra mile for me. Just one month after the warranty on my furnace expired, the furnace stopped working. I called the company who put the furnace in diagnosed the problem as the "brains" and said it would cost $400 to fix. I called six other firms and no one would even discuss the problem that it was only one month past warranty. Heating and Cooling had me get the serial number of the furnace. They called the manufacturer and fixed the furnace at no charge under the warranty. I am just so pleased with their work and willingness to help!
