Great service, great job. The new owner was in the process of relocating the business to west side Middleton location from where it had been for many many years. New showroom & they still provide great service in home & being able to see displays. Other companies did not have displays or samples to see inside as well as street view. We had thought we liked the top down bottom up function of window coverings but the look of these were really bad form street view on our windows. Blinds we picked look great, can still see the views looking out & easily operate putting up in daytime or down at night for privacy. They rep several brands including Hunter Douglas so choices were better than Costco service & their prices better too. ( we thought the costco blind rep was great,but Costco rep didnt have the blind we wanted that was only with another brand )No discount sales or gimmicks but prices were comparable or better. She has kept the veteran staff of installers, so installation was professional & efficient. They are a local company who also repairs blinds & have the knowhow. Hopefully not needed but good to know. We are so satisfied we plan to upgrade other rooms in our home overtime.

I had a 1 shade that wouldn't go down all the way, and I had 1 shade that wouldn't go up all the way.  Even though these shades are 14 years old and not originally sold and installed by Hartwig's, they fixed these shades by correctly rewinding the cords that had jumped off track.  I saved money by taking the shades into their shop for repair.  They could have retrieved these shades at my home too, for an extra fee which I was informed about ahead of time. I must admit that I enjoyed taking the shades to their shop because I got some good usage advice and I got to chat and connect with them as neighbors.  They are a small local business that I support and would use again.

Ordering and installation went fine. Price was competitive, but not a bargain. Unfortunately, even though Terrie had been on site and measured every window, the clips were missing for one door blind. The installers said they would order the clips and call me. I never received a call. I emailed Terrie after two weeks, and I called and spoke to her directly, after ten more days. She said she'd look for my email, but thaty wasn't the point. I expected to receive the clips that will prevent the blinds from hitting the door every time we open or shut it.

This was not a positive experience, due to their lack of communication.
I had to prompt them with calls every step of the way: for an estimate, for an expected arrival date, to follow-up on the order after it came late, and, finally, to find out that the order was in and had been waiting for an unspecified amount of time. At virtually each point, I made more than one call. I was so fed up with this company that I wanted to cancel my order, but I was too lazy to remeasure my windows.
I was referred to this company by a local general contractor. In the absence of any other information, I can only assume that they were slow to respond to my calls because the dollar value of my project was so low.

They were recommended to us by our builder. Their prices were pretty reasonable. We had to talk to them about the color and design. Then they would come out to our home to install it. It's a husband and wife team, and we mostly dealt with the wife. She was very knowledgeable and informative.
