We were desperate to get the work done before the end of August and Ed was able to work us in and get it done.  He was very helpful in giving me some pointers on jobs I was doing myself and got the job done on schedule.  I woud highly recommend Ed for any job large or small.

I called Ed when the wooden step to my Victorian front porch broke because I knew he did repairs as well as big jobs. He came promptly for the estimate and while I had him here we talked about my plan to repaint the house next year. In the process, I commented that I really needed the gutters cleaned out (I don't have a ladder that will reach them) and Ed said he could do that, too. His estimate for the job was one hour for the step and probably 3 for the gutters, for a total of $140. We agreed he'd call me when he could work me into his schedule, and he warned me it might be a week or two. So imagine my surprise when he called early the next week and said he could do the job Friday! When I got home from work, the step was tidily removed, all the gutters and downspouts were clean, and there was no debris anywhere in sight. And best of all, when the bill arrived it was for only $87.50, because the job had taken less time than he anticipated! I'm definitely going to get estimates from Ed for the paint job and etc I'll be doing next year.
