It went well. I was very happy with the work they did and how they cleaned up the yard after they were done.

Peter did a great job trimming our oak tree and I would highly recommend him. We called him recently when the oak tree came down in high winds and he wasn't able to handle the job (the tree was too big), but he did recommend Arbor Systems, who we were very happy with.

Peter and his coworker were amazing! They did not use a cherry picker or ladders, rather shimmied up the trees themselves and pulled all necessary equipment up with a rope and pulley system. They were VERY careful with both trees and my landscaping under the trees, which I greatly appreciated. They brought a wood chipper with them and immediately disposed of the cut limbs and branches. After a very long day - I think they were here for at least 7 hours, with no breaks - everything was cleaned up, even small piles of sawdust.
I would not hesitate to recommend this business. They clearly respect not only the trees but also the homeowners and surrounding property. The men took the time to answer my many questions during the day and it was a very educational experience as well as a necessary one.

I contacted Goodland Tree Works based on reviews on Angie's List. They came out and provided me an estimate on trimming a mature river birch and conducting the first trimming/shaping of two trees I had planted three to four years earlier to improve the structure of these trees for best future growth. They asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for and how high off of other trees I have that I wanted the river birch and suggested how high we should go over my neighbors garage. I received their estimate and knew it was fair based on what I had paid previously to have the river birch trimmed. I contracted with theme to do the work and I am more than satisfied. The river birch looks great and the immature trees look excellent this spring. One was just so too thick but I had no clue how to trim it properly and Goodland's crew did an excellent job.

Goodland Tree Works is now my forever tree company.  Seriously.  Peter and crew were professional and knowledgeable from the start.  And prompt.  And courteous.  And great at what they do.  My very tall Silver Maple was given shape and dignity (and the two-man crew worked in a tight space between two houses).   There are many arborists and tree trimming companies to choose from in the Madison area; I know, I've had many at my property over the years.  Goodland Tree Works is one of the very, very best.  Like I said, they are (now) my forever tree company.   Thanks Peter and crew!

Everything went very well - high professionalism.  Peter Kaseman-Wold , one of the owners, is a certified arborist.  He came over and we discussed what I wanted done.  I was concerned that one of my trees might be diseased, but he said it was healthy.  I didn't know exactly what kinds of pines I had so I learned something too!  There were no surprises, the estimate was exactly what I paid,  the work was done on time and on schedule.  He and his crew did a very good job of cleaning up afterwards.

Peter was very responsive and professional. They may need the use of our backyard in the future for removal of a neighbors tree and I wouldn't hesitate to provide access.

I loved the fact this company put EVERYTHING I mentioned in the contract, they left nothing to question.  They did all the work as I requested , arrived on time, asked questions if they weren't sure of something, and cleaned up afterward.  They did a perfect job and I would definitely call them again when I need work done.9/1/2012
