Gates Auto Body Inc. do a good job and stand by their work. Their price is pretty reasonable. Everything worked out pretty well.

The experience was real good. Everything was covered by insurance. It was great. The workmanship looks real good now; it's just like the accident never happened. They arranged everything. They had a rental car company right there onsite. They helped arrange a loaner for me. It was real smooth. It took about 4 days for the entire repair including painting and replacement of exterior and interior components that were broken. In terms of punctuality, they had to cancel an appointment with me but it's not a big deal.

Up to the point where Gates took control of my Ford F250 truck the process was a fiasco. Once they got the vehicle everything went smoothly. Shonn at Gates made sure that he consistently communicated with me on the progress being made at every step of the process. Great cudos to Shonn and the group there.



I was under a time crunch to get my vehicle back in service due to an upcoming move to another state. They knew the date that I had to have this vehicle back on the road and not only met that time frame but got the truck back to me ahead of when I needed it.



Since I've received my truck I had a follow up e-mail from Shonn letting me know if there was anything that I found that wasn't like it should have been that they will either personally take care of it, or in the case that I was in where I was moving to another state, they would make sure it was corrected by a local dealer. I do not expect that I will need this but it is great to know that they not only have done great work with super customer service but they will definitely stand behind their work 100%.

Staff was polite whether on the phone or in person. The service was done professionally. The only down side from this experience is there seems a lack of communication among staff. First of all, I gave my name to a male staff. Shortly, a female staff assumed that I was another customer who was bringing the car in for estimate. After I explained the purpose of my visit, my name was not on the schedule. I was then told to bring in the car the next day because the mechanic wouldn't be at the shop until the next day for a major hale damage case. Fortunately, the female staff who scheduled me showed up and the mechanic was there for fixing my car as well. It was a little bit chaotic, but everything turned out all right. I got my car within an hour since I pulled in. i am a happy person because I didn't need to or expect to leave my car overnight and to get a rental car from Gates for that ding on the door.

It was great and we were very satisfied with the quality of their work and their customer service. They did a great job and they got us a loaner car. There were not issues at all.

Their quote was approx $900 for the damage. I had lighter scratches and my license plate was bent, but the damage seemed somewhat minimal. I felt their estimate was extremely high. I received another quote for approx $100 for the same service.

It went very well. The first estimate was significantly higher than the estimate I had gotten from another body shop, but Gates was willing to meet the other shop's price, plus supplied a free rental car for the three days my car was in the shop.

I brought the car in for them to look at. After a bit of looking, thinking and talking with one of the tech's, the estimator brought me back to the bay. The tech drilled some screws into the air dam securing it pretty well. They did this and didn't charge me for it. I thought they may not, but you never know. I thought that was very good customer service. It guaranteed for them that I will come to them next time I need some real repair.

I went to another shop and they wanted $500 more than Gates Auto Body. Not only was the price good but their work and service were excellent and professional. I was even given a free loaner car while they were working on mine! The work took about a week to finish.

I brought the car in the day that I had my job interview (I got the job). I was on my way there when the deer encounter occurred. They towed the car to Gates and there it sat for the weekend (because they were closed). On Monday they called me right away and told me it might take a couple of days to get the estimate done (they have an insurance claims person right on site) and after the estimate was told to me they thought it would be done by the end of the week. The end of the week came and I called and the car was not finished, they were waiting on a part (understandable, perhaps because the car is foreign). They said it would be done by the beginning of the next week. It's still not done. By the end of the week they thought they "might" be able to get me the car. About 2.5 weeks after I brought it in, it was done. Workmanship, beautiful I've had no problems yet. But promptness is a slight issue, perhaps.
