The work was done in the time frame we were told it would be, and by and large the big areas look OK. We were told the putty filling holes would blend in with the surrounding wood, but it does not. In a few places, the protective finish covers things that should have been removed, such as a staple. There are some gouges in the floor that hadn't been there before. The finish does not always match from one side of a doorway to the other. The repaired spot on the floor is rough and unfinished. I made the foolish mistake of paying the final bill as the workmen were leaving on the last day, even though since they had just spread a layer of finish I couldn't walk around to see how it looked. When I tried various times to reach them afterward to have them come fix the problems, they did not respond.
Description of Work: G & G sanded and refinished floors and stairs, and repaired the floor around a heat vent. Some areas needed only a light sanding, and other areas needed a more thorough sanding. They also put some kind of putty in holes left by carpet tacks, etc.
