The setting is a 1908 house with a basement door that needed replacement. None of the existing work was square, level or in a standard size. The clearances for a new door were very tight. He took his time and did some checking before deciding on the best ways to replace an old door in this setting. The work was done in stages since some areas of new concrete needed to be poured. The outcome was excellent. I feel I have a new door that works perfectly and will last a long time. Communication was excellent. All debris was hauled and he used his shop vac to clean up fine debris. It was excellent work for a fair price. He is skilled and patient with old houses.
