Mike and Maria Drews promptly and informatively answered the many questions we emailed them. Mike came to our home in order to prepare a formal bid, and he spent about 45 minutes assessing every aspect of the roof, house, garage, basement, electrical panel, internet, asking loads of questions to ensure he knew what we wanted. Drews started the installation right on schedule, and it went as smoothly as any home project we’ve ever had done. Mike and Maria were in regular communication with us all the way through, answering questions and offering explanations, and they went out of their way to make sure we felt heard and got the answers we needed. The crew was prompt, courteous and very, very competent. They did a stellar job of the installation, got all the required city inspections done, got the MG&E sign-off on the installation, and did a truly superior job of cleaning up the job site each day. Drews Solar is simply the best there is - local, competent, ethical and terrific!

Mike and Maria are delightful. They are the shining example of communication that should be the standard in the home improvement industry. I have worked with dozens of contractors that simply do not communicate and Mike and Maria were in perfect sync with me, every step of the way. They were very conscious and considerate of social distancing and always provided ample notice for any form of work needed on the inside of the house. They were direct in discussing the amount of shade my house would experience, and the longer term it would take to recuperate my investment expenses, though as a renewable energy fan/advocate, I didn't really care. They worked very hard to put a solid product on my house, were happy and willing to work with my roofing team that was re-doing the roof to sequence things properly, and updated my home to a truly beautiful place I am proud to reside in.

Mike Drews did a fantastic job installing 22 solar panels on our house and wiring in the system, along with the inverter, to our meter and breaker box. His estimate was spot on, the document he sent along detailing hat we could expect for installation and final system capacity was beautifully crafted and deeply detailed, and he began and ended the project on time. We had to contact him many times with questions and he replied to our emails promptly, often within an hour. Unbelievable, considering many other service professionals are so swamped these days they won't even return a call. Mike was pleasant and professional,up-beat and can-do at all times and we would recommend him and his firm to anyone looking to go solar. Simply the best service from start to finish we could have imagined.

We are extremely pleased with the entire process. We looked at three different companies and are happy with our choice of Drew’s Solar. Mike is very responsive and most importantly knows his stuff! He was the only one to notice certain things and designed the system accordingly. The quote was detailed and easy to understand. Mike gave us options and really cares about putting on the system that makes the most sense and is what you want. His knowledge of equipment and installations was great. Mike, who owns Drews Solar, did a phenomenal job. Starting with the quote, he gave the most detailed, clear quote of all the companies that we received. When we asked for different systems and modifications, he was not only responsive but also gave us good advices on the details and requirements of each system. He was very accommodating, able to meet us after hours so that we didn't have to miss work. The contract and permits went very smooth as he took care of everything. The installation was quick and very professional. Our system is up and running and we couldn't be happier!!!

Very well. Mike was professional from his first visit to completion of the project. He provided us with all the information we needed about the product and process. If there were delays or changes, he kept us informed. There were no unpleasant surprises. Most of the time he worked alone but needed help with the final panel installation. He and his helper worked very hard putting in some long days. The whole process was remarkably smooth and we are pleased with the final product--even if he wasn't the lowest bidder.

From inquiry to completion everything ran smoothly. He was very prompt, professional and kept us informed for every step of the process. He coordinated with out energies company and made the process very easy

Drews Solar is owned and run by Mike Drews. I had a ton of questions about how solar works and what would be best for our situation. Mike was very patient, very responsive, and very helpful. His price was great, he hit budget, both on money and time. We hope to expand our system in the future and will definitely have Mike do that, too. While other contractors seemed to drop off the radar and not really care about our project, Mike was very attentive, even taking care of all the state rebate stuff, and filling us in on what we needed to do for the federal tax credit.

It was a great experience. Product was professionally explained and installed.

We had four people quote our job. Drews
solar quote was the easiest to understand while still being very complete. He
was the only one to start out by giving us multiple options. He was very
patient answering all my questions.  Also, I enjoyed his
personality.

 

During the project, it felt like he was
treating this with the same care he would take with his own home. He worked
with the focus on energy group to deal with our rebates, worked with the city
on getting our permits, and worked with the utility company to get us all
hooked up. I did not have to do any of it

This was a very expensive project for us
and I am very glad we got to work with Drews solar on it.
