Don Hopkins is the best home inspector one could ask for. This guy knows his stuff.  Don conducted an inspection on a property in Sun Prairie that needed quite a bit of fix up and improvements - and is a bit overwhelming for a novice like me. Don's knowledge really helped me better understand the property, the issues that need resolving and the history of the property. I feel so much more confident with the knowledge his inspection provided, both on the issues that need resolving and how to look after the property / things every homeowner should know.   His inspection was thorough, spending all the necessary time looking through every corner of the house. His report was very detailed but still easy to follow - very quick delivery as well.  Don Hopkins is the guy for you if you need a home inspection. Great guy and perfect service.

Don is great at what he does. He has great customer service skills (prompt, professional, great communication skills, responsive, did exactly what he said he would do, etc.), has an awesome personality, and he did an excellent job. He is very thorough and checked every structure on the property from the top to bottom for structural, electrical, and other issues. He explained everything he was doing as we did the inspection. He explained what needed to be fixed and gave me a good sense of what would be major projects versus projects I can do myself. He also told me what things to look out for to assess a property for structural damage. I learned so much and will be able to do a better job of assessing a property before even making an offer. I will use Don's services again and will recommend him to all my friends.

Don Hopkins was hired to inspect a home that was closed on in Oct 2017. Water incursion was experienced and an Inspection was requested. We were notified by phone that Don arrived on site and would call us upon completion. Several hours later he called to let us know we would hear from him in several days.
