Initially I relied on their website to select a tire. After a significant delay getting the tire in, it ended up that it was a winter only tire. Rely on the sales center to assist you with selecting a tire as they are not pushy. Additionally, the repair shop did NOT do the usual car repair gimmick of identifying multiple problems with the vehicle. They changed the tires and provided top-notch service.

The Web site was easy to use and included all the relevant costs, so I didn't have any unpleasant surprises when I went to get the tires put on. Their prices were the best in town. I was able to schedule an appointment within 48 hours. The store itself was clean and pleasant, but it was a little hard to figure out where I was supposed to go to find help. After about a minute, someone approached me and offered to help.
The associate who was helping me was overly aggressive in trying to sell me their replacement warranty. When I declined, he made several sarcastic remarks, such as and quot;Well, if you are the type of person who likes to pay full price for a set of tires, then I want to know you.and quot; He didn't offer any information about the rebate specials that were listed on the Web site; I had to ask about them. He also didn't seem to know how to set up the financing option.
The work was done quickly and so far my tires are great. So for price and convenience, I give Discount Tire a thumbs up, but for the staff's pushy and condescending salesmanship, I give a big thumbs down and would consider going elsewhere in the future.

I love that I can have my tires rotated for free! They are always prompt and professional.

We have been to different Discount Tire locations and have always been satisfied with their service. We were able to quickly book an appointment to have our tires changed. The staff was knowledgable about which tires were the best for our car, on both a quality and value scale. They changed out two of our tires in a very reasonable amount of time; we went to the nearby Panera for lunch and they finished servicing our car before we were even done eating. Very reasonable prices on their tires, and excellent service to match.

We called ahead (you have to do this when your tires are in storage so that they have time to get them!) and scheduled an appointment for later in the week. My husband made arrangements for them to special order the tires that he wanted. I arrived and there were lots of people in the waiting room. However, since we had an appointment, we were taken ahead of the walk-in clients. The tires were mounted and on the car in less than an hour.
We have been using Discount Tire for several years - after I swore off the prominent chain in Madison after several less than pleasant experiences. Their prices are fair, their staff professional (they do have things to up-sell, but are not pushy about it), their facility is clean and welcoming.
I recommend them to EVERYONE!

It's hard to judge...everything seemed fine and the service was good. I don't know that much about cars or tires so they could probably sell me anything, but they seemed trustworthy.

Last week I was driving down the road when stuff flew out of the pick-up truck in front of me. I couldn't avoid running over the drywall and hoped I didn't hit any nails. Well, I did. And this morning my tire was flat and I could clearly see the drywall screw. I filled it with air and headed over the Discount Tires, knowing they took walk-ins. They checked my trend depth and the position of the nail - both being okay, they didn't try to sell me a new tire. Instead, they fixed the tire, checked the rest of my tires to make sure there were no other nails, and even checked my spare tire. I happily sat in the waiting room drinking free coffee (and water) while reading my book. They indicated that it would take about 45 minutes (as there were other cars in the bays already) and sure enough, at the 45 minute mark, my car was ready. And, with NO CHARGE! They were fast, friendly and thorough. I'd go back (and hand out the extra business cards they provided).

They are typical in service, very hurried so they can be sloppy and apply up charges to your order if you are not careful. On my initial quote for tires I notice a $62.00 charge, when asked why I'm charged the sales person said this is a standard warranty and service, I object to the charge and later discovered the additional charge is optional. The tires are very good in terms of dealing with our winters and roads, I've had good luck with Yokahama's in the past.

They took my car immediately and repaired it in a timely fashion. They did not charge me for any of it. And they were incredibly nice and professional.

I had just gone to another tire store (BIG MISTAKE) and had been told I needed to replace my tires, which had 16k on them. I went to Discount Tires to compare prices, and salesperson Jim Gibson told me that I did NOT need new tires (at a cost of $600 at the other tire store) and instead recommended safety siping, which cured the problem I was having -- sliding in snow.

Even the coffee was reasonably good and fresh.

It went well, the job was done quickly, they even stayed open a little later to accommodate my work hours. In the end, the cost was nothing. They repair tires for free, even if you didn't buy the tires from them.
