The crew arrived in the time frame suggested. The crew lead (who also did the estimate) was courteous and professional. The work was done very quickly. A second board needed to be replaced and additional silicon sealing was performed for no additional charge beyond the original estimate. We've had one intense rainfall since the repair and we had no leaking.

They completly replaced our roof which had very bad longstanding damage. They replaced the roof, all the rotted wood, and gutters. We were blown away with their work. They did a lot of work in a quick amount of time. They have specialists that do everything.They are well organized and well coordinated. They are very responsive. Our estimate was received from the company right away and it was very detailed. They are very personable, upfront and honest people. The job has a 30 year warranty.

Once they started the job went very well. The entire job took 3 days (would have been 2 except for the rain). They worked right through a rain storm in order to get the roof protected. They did some extra work that was not in the contract at no charge. They were great about cleanup and left my driveway cleaner than when they started. My only concern was once I signed the contract they were slow to return my calls. It would be helpful to have a voice announcement that says we're out of town...back on ___day or have an answering service (that hopefully would have some information on when the call would be returned). Other than that, I couldn't be more pleased.

We recently had our rubber roof replaced and 2 solar tubes installed by Cruz Roofing. We were very pleased with the work performed. We called Cruz Roofing based on a friend’s recommendation and by the ratings and reviews on Angie’s List. Because of this and his low bid we decided on Cruz Roofing . Rick took a lot of time to explain his bid and he and/or his brother Nick were present for most of the job. Once the weather cooperated work was started and completed promptly. They cleaned up after the job. They took the time to see that the old rubber was given to people who had a use for it rather than putting it in a dump where it would not decompose. Everyone was helpful and polite. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Three times last year we had workers here from 2 different companies to fix the roof leaks which were only a problem in big rains, but were a huge annoyance with water trickling down the wall and through a drip-drop-drip from the ceiling in 2 places when it rained hard. Neither of these companies successfully stopped the leaks. This year I decided to try Cruz's solely because of their rating on Angie's list. They were the best experience I have had with any company in the 19 years I have owned this 85 year old home on Lake Monona. Rick Cruz returned my initial call within a day, came when he promised, gave me a "we'll fix it"guarantee after a 15 minute inspection,showed up again personally with his crew as promised 3 days later, and finished the job within 3/4 of a day, all at the previously agreed to price. I couldn't ask for anything more. I'm happy to have Cruz's business in my community. They are a great example of the kind of reasonably priced,effective and efficient workers that we, unfortunately, don't see too often these days. Their reputation is very well earned.

It was excellent. The work was more complex that intended but it was done for the same price. They replaced the dents and when they had to add another one to fit in, they did it for no extra charge.

Rick's team did a great job. Rick's estimate was accurate. His team worked efficiently and got the job done in a day and a half. The team was very careful about picking up all the debris, including nails (they have a giant magnet that they run over the drive and grounds). The crew boss was very careful about protecting bushes and perennials--we only lost 1 small branch from our Korean Spice bush. Rick checked back on the job frequently and was also available by cell phone throughout the project. I especially appreciated how Rick stayed well into the evening of the first day (even though his crew was coming back the next day to finish the job) to put up a gutter so that the water from the storm predicted for later that night would drain away from the house. It was a pleasure doing business with him. We will definitely call on him for future roofing needs.

Cruz’s Roofing is owned and managed by Rick Cruz with support from brothers Mike and Nick along with a very hard working and competent crew. Rick provided a detailed proposal for asphalt-roof removal and replacement in a timely manner and followed up by phone and email. The estimate was very competitive and was accepted. On the day of installation we met the professional, friendly, knowledgeable and competent Cruz brothers and their crew and within two days the old roof was removed and the new one installed. There was always one of the company principals on site and I was kept abreast of all issues and recommendations as the job proceeded. From the initial contact to the final cleanup this locally owned family company performed competently and professionally. Would I use Cruz’s Roofing again? With out a doubt. Would I recommend Cruz’s Roofing? Most certainly.

The time from when I accepted their bid to the start of the job was less than 5 days. Granted I have a smaller home and the job only took 2 days, but I still felt that the quality of work was good and the price was fair.

They were very prompt on getting back to me on things, and they were very courteous. They cleaned up the mess when they were done and very conscientious.

They showed up when they said they would. It took two full days, sun-up to sun-down. The work seemed well done. The boss came out to inspect the work a couple days later and repaired some minor issues.

We needed a new roof, so got several estimates. Cruz was the lowest by far. Our neighbor had recently put in a new roof by Cruz and was very happy with the experience. It took a few days to get the estimate but once we selected them they came soon after and performed the job quickly and efficiently. When we called back with some questions, they responded rapidly and to our satisfaction.

When I need a roofer again, I will be calling Cruz Roofing.

I liked how they were able to do the work, and they did a good job with the it all as far as I can tell. Their were some issues with responsiveness and punctuality but other than that it was a good experience.

Responsiveness was poor. It took a couple calls for the inspection to actually occur. He gave me an estimate on the repair and agreed to do it in a week or two. He never showed up for the work. I called a couple times and never got a response. It seemed like he really wasn't interested in doing the job.

They gave us an estimate and talked to us about insurance that would pay for hail damage. It was a positive experience. We really liked them. They did a good job of bidding and they always kept us informed. They were really careful about not throwing things down on our plants and ruining. They picked up after themselves and the roof looks great.

The whole job was done correctly and quickly. One of the Cruz brothers was on hand whenever a critical part of the job was going on or when my input was needed. They checked the condition of my old roofing boards carefully, and replaced the bad ones with 1" x 10" pine boards just like the old ones, instead of jamming in plywood. Their crew appeared to be experienced and competent, were always courteous, were non-smokers, and the senior members spoke clear English. Their cleanup job at the end was very thorough, rolling a magnet everywhere to get the nails, and picking up and hauling away all the old shingle pieces. They worked full days, and finished in 3 days. They even came back and added an extra square roof vent when I found my attic needed more ventilation than the ridge vent. These guys have clearly been in this business for quite a while and are good at it.

When I called Rick at the office I asked about shingle types and colors, time constraints in getting the job completed right away and the mess after he was finished. He put me in contact with his brother Nick who called me back right away. I knew right away that this was the company for me. Nick sat down with me and my wife and discussed shingle colors, styles, ice and water shield and the openings for the 3 skylights. They were there 6 days later with a crew of 8 to start the tear off. That is when I met another brother Mike. He was in charge of the crew and he had 2 guys cleaning while the other 6 went to tearing. Before I knew it they had the old shingles off and the openings in with the ice and water shield around every opening and roof edge. WOW! Was I ever impressed! 1 day was all it took to do all that! Not a nail was found anywhere on my property. Rick, Nick and Mike were professionals till the end.The crew was top notch and never complained about the 95 degree day. I would recommend them very highly! Thank you!

Could not get to come out for an estimate.

I called Cruz Roofing last fall for a small roofing job because of good reviews on Angie's List. Despite several calls and promises to come to house to provide estimate nobody ever came. I thought I would give them a second chance when I needed ice removed from my roof this winter but I had exact same experience. Several calls back and forth promising to give estimate but nobody ever came.

Rick was great to work with. All the other companies said to get a complete new roof for more than $8000, but Rick said he could repair the roof and gave me a 1 year guarantee. He did have to come back multiple times for the kitchen leak, which ended up being a broken sewer vent pipe! Rick was very responsive and lived up to his guarantee until the problem was completely resolved.

It took about a month from when we signed the contract; there were some delays due to weather (rain), but overall they came to do the roof when they said they would. They worked long hours for 3 days in a row and got it all done, including removal of the old roof and clean up. Mike Cruz, one of the brothers who own/manage the company, is a very nice, informative, and responsible guy. They do very good work and are not expensive. A very high quality smallish family-owned business.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE service! Rick came out the same day we called, gave us an estimate in the morning and was back to do the work that afternoon. He went way above and beyond what they had to do and was the consummate professional. He walked our entire roof (which is BIG) and noted any problems we needed fixed and also caulked another chimney that was in need and didn't even charge us for it. I would HIGHLY recommend his company for any type of roofing work... when we replace our roof they will be the ones we call.
