Carla Mason, the brains and driving force of Creative Energy, worked with me with great knowledge to help me select the "just right" shades, which were made to my specifications by the producer she uses.  She came to my house to check my DIY installation, which I totally messed up, and corrected the installation herself in five minutes.  Carla afterward worked with me to
select the ideal complemtary drapes ( which were made in her workshop) and hardware, and again came to my house to check the installation of the drapes, which were done by a pro since I learned my lesson by messing up the installation of the shades.  Carla is now working with me to arrange for painting of my living room and kitchen.  She also accompanied me to pick out the perfect rug.  I feel that Carla and her company warrant more than a plain A in all categories.

Carla was very easy to work with. Very supportative and patient when I had trouble deciding on materials. She and her crew hit a tight deadline and did a great installation job.

Window warmers are energy efficient fabric window covers. They come all the way down like a quilt, to cover the whole window. They are used instead of curtains, but they don't slide back the way curtains do. They're like window shades, but they're pretty, and they're made of fabric. Creative Energy did a good job. We're still having some trouble with the window warmers over the big sliding doors. They cover a large area, and the rope sometimes gets tangled when we pull the covers down. I have to get a chair and stand on a desk to get it all straightened out. I think it's probably because it's so big. The mechanism could possibly be better. I'd rate them well across the board. They probably have other stuff that's more energy efficient, and we might adapt some of it into what we're doing. They are creative and adaptive to my situation.

On Monday, Julie came to my house and picked up the window warmers up to be re-strung. She said she would try to get the work done quickly because one of the windows was in our master bedroom which faces the front of the house. Three days later she was back and installed them. Great friendly service!
