Classic Chimneys

Had an appointment this last Thursday and they never showed up. Said he had the wrong day down but could come today, Saturday @9:00am. Never showed and no call or response to my text. Extremely rude and unprofessional, would not recommend.

Our nonprofit organization paid Classic Chimneys in February 2024. They set several work dates, but did not show up for any of them. Since August, they have not responded to our phone calls, emails or letters. Do NOT hire them, they will take your money and never do the work.

Still have not completed work that they were paid for months ago despite months of pleading and countless excuses. I don't know what's going on with Jake, but behavior appears fraudulent and deliberately misleading. He has stopped responding at all to queries re: when he is planning to complete the job. Would stay far, far away.

Everything went very well. We were very happy with the work done and would completely recommend Jake and his crew to anyone who needed repairs.

Fantastic experience when we contacted Jake and needed assistance swiftly to fix a chimney/flue during a home selling process. Jake and his crew were amazing and did everything to ensure things went off without a hitch. In fact, they went above and beyond and we couldn't be more thrilled! Not only did they deliver timely, but reasonably priced as well. I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone needing any chimney work done!

He and his crew did a fantastic job of setting a new mold and repairing the chimney. Very, very pleased with him and his crew and the work was done above and beyond my satisfaction.

Very prompt response to my inquire, professional, only charged for labor provided, not package price quoted by another company. Provided me with a letter of inspection with warranty for 1 year to provide to potential home buyers.

Jake and his crew do great work at a great price. Jake is responsive and did the work when he said he would. He left our chimney / roof very clean when he was done with the work. Jake is legit, and he has a decent sense of humor to boot.

Went very well, Jake squeezed in the job last minute prior to a closing. Had to juggle his schedule a bit to get us in with Spring weather delays, but got it done on time and on budget.

Jake at Classic Chimneys was amazing! I appreciate that he didn't try to upsell us or tell us we needed to spend a ton of money to fix things that we didn't need to fix. The work was done quickly and at a good price. I also appreciate that he volunteered to come by and show us how to use it at any time.  Good experience, thank you!

Jake was easy to get a hold of, easy to schedule service with, showed up on time, and was friendly and knowledgable when he arrived. He cleaned and inspected the stack and crown/roof flashing area. He had good advice on fireplace use after he was finished cleaning/inspecting. We used the Angie's list coupon for $50 off. Would definitely use again for other services.

We are getting a gas insert installed and the installer recommended we get our chimney swept because of creosote buildup. I looked around on Angie's List, found Classic Chimneys, and liked that they had good reviews. So I called to set up a sweeping. They returned my call promptly and we scheduled it on a pretty quick timeline. The cleaners got here a little late, but nothing to worry about. They were professional, quick, and kept the house very clean. We're very happy with the work.

The provider's people arrived on time as scheduled and were very polite and professional. We just needed to have the chimney cleaned, but as they inspected our fireplace they noticed that its back wall had a crack that had to be fixed, which they did. They also gave us a lot of useful advice about the firewood we had in the back yard left over from the previous owner of the house - whether it is dry enough to use, how to store it and other such things. They also observed that the woods our house is surrounded by are a very good source of perfect firewood and we should never have a need to buy it.
Overall, I was very pleased with their service and am going to schedule all future fireplace maintenance with them.

We had just purchased a home with two wood fireplaces so wanted inspected/cleaned prior to use.   Owner Jake arrived on time, and got right to work with inspection.  He inspected the upper fireplace and found that it did not need cleaning (I am new to fireplaces so was impressed that he didn't just clean anyway and charge me to do so).  He proceeded to inspect, clean and do some minor repairs to the lower level fireplace and chimney.   
When he found out we had no experience with wood fireplaces he was more than happy to give us some education on best practices.  I would and will use this provider again in the future for my chimney maintenance.
