Barry returned our initial call within a couple hours and was very flexible in setting up an appointment. He was very professional and knowledgable about rodent control. He seemed genuinely invested in making sure our problem was resolved, and gave us options for how proceed. He also gave advice on how we can keep insects out of the house. We will definitely use Barry's services as needed in the future!

He was able to come on short notice and did a thorough inspection. He said there was no evidence of animals in the attic (the noises we were hearing must have been from the roof), but left a bait trap in case there was something he was missing. We used this provider five years ago as well and we were also pleased at that time with the prompt service (at that time effectively ridding a previous residence of mice). We haven't received a bill yet but based on previous experience would expect it to be very reasonable.

Barry enacted 3 different solutions (on 3 different trips) depending on location and each one worked. Problems solved.

It went fine he sprayed the inside and outside of the house on 6/18/13. I called back the following week to report that I had a terrible problem with bee's outside my back door. I was stung by one that morning. I left a message with the woman who is in charge of scheduling. I have not yet had a response. This is 6/28/13.

Very well! Barry rings the door bell when he arrives once a month (late spring through early fall) to let me know that he is at my house ready to provide the service. He asks if I have any special needs (this time I told him about some new locations for wasps). He is very friendly and has good ideas for solutions for problems that arise.

They have been in the busy along time, very honest - they don't sell you a bill of goods and very knowledgeable.

I was impressed that even though the 2nd call was for a different mice
entrance, technician felt he should have done it all the first time, so
charged less than the normal cost for a service call. Excellent follow
through.

Overall, he was timely. He was professional. He did additional things that he found and offered to do. He came back to double check on his work. He was really inexpensive and a very nice man! He guarenteed his work until the end of the year.

I had a mouse problem. I called on a Friday morning and he came out that day to check the exterior and give an estimate. He was back the following Monday to do the work (fill all exterior holes with foam), then came back a few days later to remove any excess foam after it had expanded. He followed up about 2 months later to confirm that there were no more mice - it was only after that that he sent a bill. His price was extremely fair (I recently paid MUCH (5x) more to another company for a bat problem - who only patched one hole) . He was very pleasant and I haven't seen any sign of mice since.

They were prompt and efficient in getting the job done.

I chose this company from Angie's List reviews. I initially called to combat a chipmunk problem (though they are cute, the little buggers are wreaking havoc on our landscaping to cause water to flow into our house) as well as a wasp problem that was just annoying and I should have called in springtime. Barry, the owner, returned our phone call promptly and even came out the same day. He evaluated our property and also determined we also had a mouse issue--we live on a large property next to woods so not a big surprise I guess. He gave a suggestion for removal of chipmunks (it involved a bucket and water...) but said most people don't have him take care of it b/c there are a lot of them and they don't want to pay that much money every time -- so suggested the water/bucket method. (I ended up buying a Rat Zapper to cause less suffering b/c my husband didn't want to deal with a bunch of drowned chipmunks and I wasn't going to either!). So on that end, he didn't take care of the initial concern but he gave solutions to do so as well as even set up the trap for the poor buggers, though I didn't use it. He used a mirror to identify, around our home, where mice were getting into the siding of the house and filled in the mouse holes w/foam on the oustide of the house, then came back a few days later to trim the foam. He then put mouse bait/traps in places my kids will not be able to access and checked out the attic. He said he'll come back in a month to check the traps. He found several wasp nests--we'll see in the spring if it took care of the issue or not. All in all, a good experience and a really, really nice guy to boot. I also like how I did not have to sign a contract for X number of visits, etc., and the price seemed reasonable.

Barry showed up right on schedule. He went right to work and seemed to know what he was doing. I think he did a nice job and I expect the critters are gone. He has a 60 day guarantee on his work in case they come back. I thought he did a good job for a very reasonable price.

Barry came over promptly and looked my house over. He identified the problem areas and explained what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate which I thought was reasonable. I asked him to go ahead and do the job. He returned the next day and set up traps, sealed holes, etc. He came back several days later to check on his work. I haven't seen a mouse since!

Barry was prompt, fair, and professional. I would definitely go with him for future pest needs.

I had a great experience working with Certified Pest Control. We caught 15 mice in traps below our kitchen sink before we really realized that we had a serious mouse problem. After reading other reviews on Angie's List, I decided to call Certified Pest Control. I left a message, and I had to wait a day for a return phone call, but it was totally worth the wait. Barry was upfront on the phone about charges (a minimal charge for an assessment, estimate, and instructions on how to fix the problem yourself), and then a fair estimate for the cost of the work. He came to give me an initial estimate where he showed me all of the entry points that mice were using to get into my house. Then he came back the next day to fill in the holes, and came back an additional two times to put poison in the attic and to fill in a few more holes. He was thorough, reasonably priced, and very professional. I would absolutely call him again.

Barry answered all phone calls within 24 hours and was always prompt and courteous.

Barry is very knowledgeable and helpful, offering all sorts of advice to help you solve a problem rather than trying to sell you a long-term contract. His pricing is extremely fair, and I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again. And on top of everything else he is an awfully nice guy!

Everything was quick and painless. He first addressed the woodchuck under the shed by putting out a live trap. He then asked where I spotted the ants and then we drilled a few holes, sprayed and then covered up the holes with wood putty. You can't even tell where we drilled a hole anymore. The ants disappeared within 2 days. The woodchuck was captured that evening so we called and left him a message. He stopped by first thing in the morning to recover the woodchuck.

My initital phone call was returned promptly. An appointment was made right away and Barry was punctual. He was able to return the same day and do the work. He made a follow up call a few days later to see if we had good results. We did.

We went with him because he doesn't require a contract. He was great! We liked him a lot.
