Job completed in less than a minute. Very impressed with immediate scheduling and prompt service. The technician was able to easily pull the key out, but couldn't provide a replacement key that worked. No problem with service, but felt the $75 trip charge was extraordinarily high for 5 minutes of work.

The visit by Capitol Locks was extremely efficient, professional and informed. Both the dispatcher and the service man were extremely informative and professional. I appreciated the dispatcher attempted to talk me through some ideas before necessitating the charge for a visit. The service man was prompt in arrival and as soon as he arrived, he was in problem solving mode. He phoned a cohort to confirm his conclusions and had the door unlocked in minutes. He reinstalled the knob correctly for us as well.
I would definitely recommend Capitol Locks. Their great customer service was top notch.

Excellent service. Repairman was very pleasant. Explained what he was doing. Gave tips on how to avoid future problems, Service call was long overdue. Didn't oversell services.

There was some miscommunication on my first call. The representative was vague about when we could get service, and apparently wrote down our phone number wrong, there was no follow-up. I called again three days later, and got a very prompt response. We asked the technician to re-key one lock and replace two others with locks using the same key. While completely willing to do the work, he told us we could save money by buying a lock set at a hardware store, asking them to re-key it for free, and installing it ourselves. He told us about the markup they had to charge on hardware, which did not apply to locks bought retail. He offered to come back if we had problems, or say we could call the office for help over the phone in case of problems. We did do the work ourselves at considerable savings. Reasonable cost, very friendly and helpful, and (obviously) trustworthiness to the max.

They came quickly, were kind and efficient. We can't thank you enough for such a great job. Will definitely call if needed again. Thanks!
