Wonderful care for your pet whether it's during the day for daycare or for a whole week while boarding. Top notch facilities. Awesome and caring staff who get to know you and who truly care for your pet. Individualized attention. Wouldn't trust another place to take care of my pet every week. Your dog will get plenty of exercise and socialization throughout the day and will be exhausted when they get home! They also provide a variety of fun activities throughout the year and post pictures on Facebook and their website. My dog is happy and healthy thanks to Camp K9!

I dropped in at the facility to get information about the services provided prior to my initial visit; I was greeted by staff who were friendly and helpful and happily provided an impromtu facility tour to give me a look at what they had to offer. They also provided information and directed me on what I needed to do to submit my request for the day camp. Within about a day of submitting my application and information to day camp, a rep contacted me, spent about 20 minutes talking about my application as well as asking general questions about my dog; I could tell that they had a high bar for quality and customer service. I was able to schedule an initial 'meet and greet' evaluation at the day camp within about a week; they let me know what I needed to do when I arrived and gave me a brief overview of what my dog would encounter that day. The day of the evaluation, I was greeted promptly and with enthusiasm, and got a nice walkthrough of the day camp facility and all of the details of what would happen during my dog's stay. When I picked up my dog at the end of the day, the staff gave me the details of how my dog interacted with other dogs and staff, and was given a 'report card' for how the dog did and who she played with. I also received a 'first day' care package with some small treats, notepad, additional information and coupon for future services. Best of all, my dog was practically sleeping once she got in the car, so I knew it was a fun and energetic day. The only downside (and I use that very loosely) is in scheduling future play dates for day camp; they use a first come-first served process and fill up very quickly; in order to schedule using their online system, they want your dog to participate a couple of times to ensure a good fit. Because they are a top-notch facility, it's difficult to get a reservation, therefore ending up on a waiting list. But because I understand they want to make sure they have well-behaved and social dogs in their camp, I'm willing to wait knowing they have the best possible environment for my own dog.

IIn all the many times we have used Camp K9 we have always been delighted with the care and attention provided to our dog. The staff are always friendly form the reception desk to the folks who care for the dogs. Our dog actually enjoys going to Camp K9 and always comes back healthy. I am particularly impressed with how well the staff seems to know and like the dogs that come there.
When we go away it's so great to have this wonderful kennel to depend on.

Our very shy Boston Terrier seemed happy when we picked her up.
I would definitely use them if we were back in town.
However, I would have to say, I only had our dog there for 2 days, so I can't offer a long term perspective.

The boarding experience was excellent. Despite the fact that this is one of their busiest times and Huck was a first time boarder, I got the impression that they payed a considerable amount of individual attention to Huck to make sure things were going well. They took the time to kind of "pair him up" with another young pup for play times. He came home happy. I highly recommend their boarding services.
We sought out Camp K9 for the day camp experience to help Huck learn "socialization skills" with other dogs, and of course, to tire hime out once in a while. He loved it there.
We had to fill out a questionnaire regarding his play habits, etc, which seemed like a good idea. They seem to have a well-thought process there, separating dogs by size, and introducing new dogs in small groups to make sure things are going OK. There's a viewing area in front and I saw many happy dogs with multiple staff members supervising all the activity. They genuinely love animals. Huck had a great time there. I highly recommend Camp K-9s day camp, too,

I have used Camp K9 twice in the past month for long weekends. My dog loves it there and comes home clean, happy and completely worn out. Staff are wonderful and professional. Competitive rates. Will definitely use them often - if we can get in b/c I think they are quite popular.

As usual, it was great for our dog because she makes a lot of new friends every time she goes there. We have been using Camp K-9 for our various dogs and cats since 1996 and we have never been disappointed.

We are very confident our dogs get the attention and care they need and plenty of exercise. The staff is great and very responsive to our phone calls and requests. Prices are reasonan;e although I wish sat-sun was not a 2 day charge (adds up with 2 dogs!) Also would be nice for loyal frequent boarders to offer some sort of "Frequent Boarder" program where you can earn free nights etc...

I have used Camp K9 from August 2009 to present--both their day care program and kenneling. My dog is a barker with severe separation anxiety. I cannot leave him alone when I need to be away. He LOVES Camp K9. The staff is wonderful; they truly love dogs. I was worried about overnight kenneling because of my dog's anxiety, but he felt so comfortable there for day care that the overnight kenneling was no problem for him. I have used other kennels in the Brookfield/Sussex area before my move to Madison and none compares to the facility and staff at Camp K9. The prices are very reasonable for the attention dogs get and kenneling appointments can now be made through the Internet. There is no better dog care facility in the Madison area!

They charged me $12-$15 for boarding my pet. I would definitely recommend them. They were above and beyond in quality. Their staff was very friendly. They really seemed to care about all the animals there. I will continue to use them again in the future.

We went prior to our planned vacation to take a tour of the facilities. While we were impressed with the kennels available for the prices, the girl who was giving the tour was extremely quiet and had to be prodded to give out information. They showed us prices and extra options that could be added on but were never pushy. We chose just the basic kennel with regular three times daily group playtime since our dogs typically enjoy playing with other dogs at dog parks. When we dropped them off, they had us fill out a brief questionnaire about the demeanor of our animals and preferences. They even let us go back to see the kennel where they were going to be kept and since there were several open, we chose the one we thought they would enjoy most. We have had issues in the past when boarding the dogs and them coming back with an increased startle response whether it was from the treatment by staff or by the method of cleaning - this was not the case at Camp K9. They seemed to really enjoy their experience and were delivered to us happy and healthy. The staff also put together all of our items that we brought even with bedding filler that was chewed up by our dogs during their stay.

Very well. You even get a report card when you pick up your dog. They are very popular so holidays need to be booked a long time in advance.

This, so far, is our favorite kennel. They seem to take great care of the dogs, and give you a little written report when you pick up your pet. The area always seems clean. I especially like that when the dogs go out in playgroups it's not one giant group. Instead, it's around 3 dogs at at time. My dog enjoys playing with others, but he gets tense in huge packs. The only problem is that you really have to reserve in advance to get into this kennel, so it's not good for impromptu trips, most of the time.

Very impressed with the facility and services offered/included.

It usually goes pretty well. The staff treats us very well at pick-up and drop-off times. I check in my dog at the front desk and take my dog to his "suite" where his cot awaits & there are TVs for him to enjoy animal programming. He has a good-sized run attached. I can also purchase a day for him at the neighboring doggie day care, or other amenities such as a bath or treats. He gets a report card at pickup.
