Byte Size Solutions took the dead computer immediately and informed us of what they could and could not do within a short time frame, and how much each option would cost.  They kept in touch with us as they went through the diagnostic process and then proposed a short-term fix that would allow us to have some usefulness of the computer until a better solution could be found.  After we picked up the computer from Byte Size Solutions, we found it to be as useful as promised.  My husband said he was glad to know that a friendly, competent computer service store was so close to us in case he had need for similar service in the future.
