2012 - great experience! Worked with us to come up with a design we loved. Came in on budget, which was very reasonable given the work requested to be done. Listened to what we were looking for and worked with us on options to find a solution we liked on budget. Crew was very respectful and hardworking. We had a couple plants that didn't take within a month or so due to the drought and they replaced without an issue. No issues to report.
2014 - we're currently working with Blair on a new estimate and project for a new house we bought. They will be redoing the landscaping design as well as some water drainage work. Very excited to see the end results!

The price was reasonable. They were prompt. They were here on time. They were here almost immediately when I called them and when I needed it. The blacker wasn't what I thought it would be but I find no complaints.

Our experience overall was excellent. We worked extensively with Nate to create a workable design from our original concept. We found him to be flexible, knowledgeable and talented. He incorporated our ideas, dealt with our quirks and guided us skillfully in making good choices. He was also a very responsible and involved boss once the work began. The Blair crew was focused, efficient and friendly. We were impressed that they left the work site in such good condition at the end of each day. (They worked for a solid 3 weeks, during some of the hottest weather of a record breaking summer.) Our deck work was particularly fussy carpentry, and Arturo did a masterful job making it all come out beautifully. We worked closely with Pat on the lighting design and are very happy with the outcome, which included very discrete down-lighting at elevation changes and a well positioned uplight with it's own on/off which Pat engineered for us as a late add on.
Our only disappointment came from trying to maintain new plantings in a yard full of active moles, which does not reflect on the Blair crew or their planting skills!
We would happily contract with Blair again. We really enjoyed working with them and are delighted with the outcome.

The crews sent by Blair were always very nice and tried hard, but when mistakes were made we became very frustrated with the service. The overflow hose had to be installed 3 times. The 3rd time they punctured the hose as they were planting replacements for established perennials that they mistakenly had pulled because they thought they were weeds. We had always been good customers (over our 3 years of using them for snow removal we had promptly paid bills totaling more than $2000.00). But when we had complaints or things that needed to be addressed with this landscaping project, Blair's owner was at best unresponsive and at worst very rude to us.

The crew arrived at the expected time and wasted no time in performing the repair. They had left already by the time I got back home from an appointment, but I was pleased with the work and there was no need to call the company and ask them to come back for minor fixes. As I expected, I will need to sweep some additional sand into the spaces between the pavers, as it has settled some. But the steps are now safe, solid, and perfectly level. The repaired area blends very well into the rest of the patio.

I paid about $7,000 on that work. They were great and everything was really good.

Blair was excellent. They came to look at our property in a timely fashion and got back to us quickly with an estimate and sketch. They came sooner than they had originally though, did a great job on the work and it was done very quickly. All in all I was very pleased with the work and am considering hiring them to do some additional landscaping in the future.

It was incredible. At the time of their estimate, they told me it would be about 3 weeks before they could start the project. I got home a few days later to see that they had already started!! And they finished within a day of that!! They did terrific work, made my backyard look beautiful, communicated with us along the way, and at a reasonable cost. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to anyone who asks. After a debacle with a new deck last year, I had almost lost all hope for contractors. My faith is restored.

I received many bids for this job and they were not the very cheapest but I felt I could trust them. I do not remember exactly what I paid. They have a good reputation and they exceeded my expectations. They did and excellent job planting. The yard was thoroughly cleaned when they were done. I would use them again for projects like these.

She gave us some ideas, we agreed, and she scheduled it promptly. The work was done on time and professionally.
