I hired the company primarily to move some large pieces into a smaller apartment. I was mainly concerned about the couch fitting. I sent them many pictures to review. They also had the option of visiting the site beforehand to make sure they could do the job. They accepted the job and said they could get the couch into the apartment. They failed to accomplish what they were hired to do and kept the whole fee anyway. $725 for 3 workers charging $85/worker/hour. The movers spent around an hour moving in smaller pieces and the rest of the time preparing and trying to get the couch moved into the space. They finally gave up but charged me the full fee even though they failed at the primary purpose they were hired. I asked for a 50% refund which was a deal since the least amount of time was spent moving smaller pieces. It was a fairly new really nice brush leather couch which we also could have sold if we had gotten the correct advice that the couch could not fit up the stairwell into the apartment. We could not even get the nonprofits to come and get the couch. So we had to take it to the dump. They refused to give any refund and denied that they had said they could get the job done.

Provider provided by ANGI. Provider called, we discussed the details of the move, a deposit was requested in the amount of 104.00 which was paid via phone. Later on September 24th I was informed my sons would be able to make the move since it was so few items. On September 25th I called Mike at Big Boy Movers I requested to cancelled the move. He asked me give him the date service was to be provided and the last 4 digits of my Visa card which I provided. Later that day I received a text that stated that since I was canceling within less than a week they would not refund my deposit. The appointment was made less than a week in advance. I was not told of the refund policy during our conversation on the telephone. I have no written contract or agreement all arrangements were done on the telephone no mention of refund policy.

During the move the company caused damages to my home and refused to work with a certified foreign company to repair the damages. Was told by the owner he would come by with a $50 pen to cover up the damages made

terrible Mike was very rude and he and the 3 boys he had with him packed up about 5% of my belongings . they dumped everything onto the floor and left after an hour and a half . mike claimed 1 of the boys said they got bit by a flea but my self my cat and my 3 friends had no issue with the imaginary flea. they left when they said that about the flea and brought only my 2 large table 6 chairs a bench my recliner which they broke. my cousins 6 year daughter could do a better job then the 4 of them did. the kids he had with him packed the wrong items left out out everything I told them to pack left my my $700.00 coventionand standard functions oven stove and my convection microwave my brand new dresser night stand . when he finished unloading my propery at my apartment he charged me over $2100.00 $600.00 he said was to bug bomb his truck. I went back the next morning to figure out how many boxes I would need to hire another mover to move my stuff and found the new owner took ownership of the condo a week and a half early and had thrown out all my furniture my clothes my mother and father grandmothers and my dogs ashes and family heirloom desk night stand all of the items my family gave me to remember them since I was a child all my medications and much more. the movers threw my 2 couches and my bed out onto the curb instead of bringing them to my apartment and my safe with all my important ids medical records some other personal items of great importants in it and they threw out my Thomas Eddison's canceled check my father passed down to me when he died in 2003 he was given that in 1980. 2 years ago it was valued at $850.00 minimum bid on ebay.

I can't speak to how well they do their job, but I saw two of these guys without masks roam about a gas station again... without masks. These are people going into other peoples homes. The lack of respect to others health speaks volumes to me though and thought others would like to know before considering hiring them.

JOSH, IAN and PUTZ (yes, Putz) were wonderful. They were there in the morning when they said they would be and got the job done right and in a timely manner.

I packed. They called promptly at 8 am and arrived 15 minutes later. I thought they were respectful of my things and of the spaces. Nothing was damaged. They are paid by the hour and they were very aware of time. One piece of furniture was left at the first place and they got it to me without charge. They do charge 4% extra if you want to pay by credit card, but do take cash or check.

Excellent! Crew showed up on time and went right to work. The made quick work of carefully loading all of our belongings into the truck and even quicker work of unloading everything at the new house. Would absolutely hire these guys again if needed and have already passed their information on to others.
