Work was performed according to the bid they prepared and which we signed.  Quality of work was excellent.  They were very agreeable and accommodating to modifications that we requested.  They cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day, a complete clean-up at the conclusion of the job.  Work schedule for every day told to us the preceding day and they were always punctual, never a no-show.  All trash and used materials, including old toilets and replaced shower stall, hauled away by the contractor.  They were very pleasant to have around, always willing to answer our questions and explain what they were doing.  I cannot give one complaint about them.  They know their business!  Completely satisfied!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this work. I wasn't thrilled with all of the work performed as part of the wall was ridged where old met new despite my saving lath for firring. I am a very detail oriented person (especially with my home) so this was fixed after the fact. However, I do think that they gave me something of a break on the labor so I consider it to be even.
I understand that this company specializes in projects like grab bars, ramps, etc and think that a scope closer to that might have helped.

They were very nice, but things just didn't go smoothly.  Everything took a lot of time.  Most of it wasn't their fault.  Didn't get as much done as they thought they would.  Some of the stuff they wanted was out of their expertise--repairing plaster and vinyl floor.

He contacted us soon after we placed the "contractor for a day"  order through Angie's list.  I wasn't initially available but he was persistent (thankfully) over the next 2 weeks to reach me.  He came out to review the job (no charge) and made plans to come back again in a few weeks to install the door.  This was a mutual timeline, I was not in a rush nor was he.  On the planned date, he showed up basically on time with a helper and a truck full of all the tools he'd need.  They were both clearly well experienced and pleasant.  They were not visibly annoyed with my hanging around and I was even able to help out a couple of times.  They worked steadily - not in a rush and not distracted or slow.  I had ordered the new door too short so they had to fill the gap, and did so with no complaining or criticisms.  It didn't quite take the full time I'd initially purchased, but we worked out a deal where he took the old door for disposal and we called it even.
The only minor grumble I had was that we had planned to move the door from the garage to the porch on a given weekend prior to the install - again at no charge - but he didn't show up as expected.  Since this was a freebie anyway, I didn't make a stink and was able to move the door myself with a friend anyway.
Overall I was very happy with the installation and the time spent with this contractor.  I would hire him again.

Bain showed up with his nephew and the work did not take all day.  They where very professional.  They let me know what they where going to do before doing it.  Let me know when it was done.  This is the first time I ever had a contractor do their job.   I have used many contractors.  Thank you Angie's list

Generally very well.  Blaine is very nice, and works hard while at the job site.   He listens
to suggestions and ideas and incorporates or improves them. Probably took longer than it might have because often there was only one man to work.  There was a lag between communications, (phone tag, e-mail attachments sent in format I didn't have, little stuff), as well, which delayed work a time or two.

They were considerate and carefull to meet all codes.  Took time to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted.  Was not very picky about the small details; though I admit I am very detail oriented.

I phoned Blaine Rogers, Co-founder (along with wife Becky Rogers) of Adaptive Remodeling Solutions, on Tuesday. He gave me an estimate of one to two hours time for installing two grab-bars in our shower.  We had already purchased the grab-bars. He said that he would be able to do the work within the week and that he would call me back to set up a time.  The next day he called and said that if we were available, he could be over within 20 minutes.  We were delighted!  He showed up on time. After discussing placement, he suggested that we might like to add a third bar (one at each end of the tub and one across the side wall).  We agreed and while Blaine started on the job, my husband ran out to Home Health United to purchase the third bar. The work was finished within an hour including a thorough cleanup.

Blaine is personable, easy-to-understand, knowledgeable, and very experienced. It is very obvious that he enjoys his job focusing on helping people stay in our homes as we age.

The company focuses on working with and improving lives for older adults. They address the unique challenges and requirements of the aging and physically challenged, who need accessible and safe places for living. Their website is very helpful and easy to use.
